A while after this video I re-did my stat and ability points and re-scaled one of my weapons. Now this is amateur shit to me, I'm way stronger than I was in this video.
Fucking hilarious how the moment I make a video about Atlyss V1.5.0c, version 1.5.5a instantly comes out, dating my video within minutes. After I spent half an entire day editing it.
it really depends on what you wanna focus on. early on i tried to evenly distribute my stat points but it wasnt working for the kind of character i was shooting for, so i reallocated them into mainly strength and magic. magic might not be optimal for a fighter, but in every rpg i play i really just wanna play a flame swordsman. and hey, burn status helps my DPS when i combo other attacks on it. one skill i recommend the most is shield bash for stunning close groups of enemies. i also recommend the bleeding slash attack and the default heal spell. these moves have really wide hitboxes and can increase your damage per second. and stunning enemies helps when you're surrounded, and you can even use normal attacks while theyre stunned, all while your stamina regenerates. rage isnt bad either.
