    Excellent teaching, Pastor. Thank you for using your God-given gift so well. I had a thought to your last point...a peacemaker is showing God's truth to unbelievers (seemingly contentious)...which is the only way they'll receive God's true peace.

    The Gardner has left the founding. Man's reasoning is not an instinct. Why would we turn our backs on God and His eternal promises in order to pursue the whimsical impulses of the heart?

    David as usual I got a whole lot out of this teaching and am looking forward to the rest of Romans but I do have one comment on the cursing. Before I was saved I remember Christian’s using substitute curse words and it was a great conviction to me to see these people purposely using other words, and it stood out to me. Had they just used regular curse words I would’ve never noticed so there’s that.

      I agree in a sense that we make a conscious choice to choose a different word than a profane one...but as always ...it's a heart issue. So while yes I may choose a word that isn't profane...I still need to examine my own heart. And God knows the heart.
