there is an inconsistency here. Eraser head clearly exposed Deku in front of the class and even called him the reaper in front of them. heck, they asked Deku if he would kill them.
So, what happen with Ida makes no sense. Ida never saw Deku use his quirk, it was the teacher who exposed Deku. So really, Ida has no reason to doubt himself nor for Deku to ask if it was his quirk that gave him away.
