    🌻 ABOUT COSMOPOLITAN CORNBREAD 🌻
    In 2016 my husband and I retired from active duty army family life and planted roots in Alabama. We started a homestead from scratch, and shared that journey here on TH-cam. In 2022 we answered the call to the mountains of Arkansas, where we are starting that journey once again.
    I post videos to encourage families to embrace growing food, cooking real food and living a simpler, slower, faith-filled life. I am a whole bible believer, and share my passions for the home and the Father.
    Here on Cosmopolitan Cornbread some of what you will see include:
    🌻 Cooking from Scratch 🌻Homesteading
    🌻 Raising Chickens 🌻 Raising Goats
    🌻 Gardening 🌻 Organic Gardening 🌻 Food Preservation
    🌻 Bible Devotionals 🌻 Women Homesteaders
    🌻DIY 🌻 Natural Living 🌻 Natural Health
    🌻 Home Ec Lessons 🌻 How to Cook, Bake and Can
    Getting back to the basics as the Father intended.
    #Arkansas #MountainHomestead #RiverValley
    ** CAPTIONS on the videos are auto-generated by TH-cam and may not be accurate. I turn on captions as TH-cam processes them. Sometimes their system doesn't work and I am not able to do so. **
    ** All Music used in my videos comes from Epidemic Sound or the TH-cam Audio Library. **

    You are a kind beautiful soul feeding the helpless fish and feeding your soul with Gods word. My 91 year old dad has been talking about Moses for a week. Dad is saying- Who is on the Lords side ? Exodus 32:26-God bless you always !🙏

    I just got the complete Jewish study Bible & Messiah in the Feasts of Israel book. I was gifted a 3 volume set on Genesis that was very good. Took me over a year to get through it but I was surprised on how much I could learn! I love studying the Bible which is how we learn who God is & develop a relationship

    HEADS UP! Christian Book Distributors is running a sale. I picked up the Jewish Bible and the Lexicon. Both were on sale. Cheaper than Amazon.
    Thank You Constance for your recommendations.

    Oh, I didn't know there was such a thing as the Complete Jewish Study Bible! That would be fascinating.
    Also, I love your rooster in your intro. He looks so proud of himself. And he should be. It's an important task to announce the day! :)

    You would love researching the Dead Sea scrolls…. if you have not done so already. I got to see them when they are on tour in Denver. So grateful for the Word of God. Read His Word over and over.

    Sure hope the Father crosses our paths, I would love to sit down and talk to you directly, one day.
    That Hebrew lexicon is a great tool.
    And learning the language...I can't express the difference this will make for anyone who travels that road right there!
    Prayers for your success in that endeavor dear sis! ❤

    Thank you for these wonderful resources and the Torah portion, I do prefer the "The Scriptures" myself but really don't understand the "old english" reference maybe I have a different version. If I may I would like to add some more resources that helped us...not book wise but channels. A Rood Awakening is awesome and teaches in a way perfect for people just coming to Torah and Triumph in Truth is another, with great preaching. I hope all followers of our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) open their eyes to the richness and need for the Torah...(The Whole Bible!) Shalom!😊

    You can also learn how to pronounce Hebrew words on TH-cam. It's Hebrew 101 I think is what it's called. I was doing it for a while.

    The Complete Jewish Study Bible - does it get into the rabbinical Jewish traditions?
    Strongs Concordance & Lexicon are awesome to have! The numbers of words usually start with "G" or "H," which indicates "Greek" and "Hebrew." I only point that out because someone who I study with didn't know it. The internet may not always be around, so I started collecting some here and there and have found them to be so "comforting" to pick them up and use instead of using the internet. Great video with more information that I can gather and use. Thanks for sharing this! Blessings to all. 🥰

    • @CosmopolitanCornbread
      @CosmopolitanCornbread  ปีที่แล้ว

      The CJSB does explain some of the rabbinical teachings, but mostly customs and cultural things that are relevant to what is being talked about in scripture.

    I have my uncle's (who was a minister) Strong's Concordance and use it often. Have you ever done verse mapping or just a word study? I am starting to do that after viewing a few videos and I have found it is helping me a lot in understanding different words and verses. I have also used Blue Letter Bible along with Bible Hub (found on the internet) to help me in my studies.

    • @CosmopolitanCornbread
      @CosmopolitanCornbread  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had to look up what verse mapping was. Yes, I do that quite a bit, I just never called it that :)

    Thank you for this, I also use the Tree of Life version and currently thr Complete Jewish Bible. I also have many versions and concordance. I had intended on trying to learn some Hebrew but never have enough time ( i work full time)
    There is someone I listen to that goes into great depth on history etc. Torah Class with Tom Bradford, they do have pdf's of the studies also.
    But anyway thank you again and U am going to check out your low carb recipes now 😊

    I will try again to comment. It looks like my comment disappeared. I’m not sure why.
    I just wanted to thank you for this helpful information and for your promotion of the Messianic way.
    I also wanted to suggest the Messianic Jewish Literal Translation of the New Covenant Scriptures (MJLT) and Kevin Geoffrey.
    Shalom

    NASB is NOT a 'classic' English Bible. It actually only came out the year my mother was born. The KJV is the classic English Bible.

    • @evanbrown7325
      @evanbrown7325 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Reply because I can't edit. You seriously need a KJV, stop buying the corrupt translation of the week and read the preserved word of God.

    • @CosmopolitanCornbread

      I have a KJV. I don’t prefer it.

      @@CosmopolitanCornbread many don't, because it requires us to think and we feel conviction after reading it instead of the soft fuzzy feelings the itching ear translations deliver.

    Thanks, Constance. I have the complete Jewish Bible...(mine would have made a stink, as it has the imitation leather cover!)...(oh, l'm sorry, but you did make me laugh...the candle incident is such a me thing! ✋😁)(and l so needed a laugh😊). I have always wondered about an interlinear Bible, so thankyou for explaining it, and showing us. I hink l mitht get one...l will start saving, and keep my eyes open for a Sale! And yep, l am all for physical copies of anything l'm studying...just like writing notes with a pen enables our brains to take it in much bett3r than just typing...typing spells out the material, but forming the letters with our hand muscles connects the meaning to our brain! God bless. 😊✝️❤🦘
