I've never seen someone suit the look of a hotel like Jenn, her hair fits right in with the colours, she looks so beautiful here and Tim doesn't look bad either.

Well...I don’t know, but nothing is more disheartening than to get the scraps when there is a whole new pot.
Usually pulled pork is good whether it's the first bite or the last bite. It's probably all been chopped up from the same pig.
I thought the same thing! LOL But honestly, with pulled pork the last bites are usually the best because they have been sitting in the juices the whole time so they are SUPER tender and flavorful.

The Kalua pork dish does have the cabbage. My Hawaiian aunt cooks it just like that and you're right, it is delicious
Time and time again Jen proves to be such a kind and considerate human being. When Tim commented that his food was cold and Jen was upset he may not have enjoyed it as much, offering for him to eat his next so it’s piping hot...is just so lovely. Jen is always so warming to watch, she’s a delight and the perfect compliment to Tim. Lots of love from Melbourne. ❤️❤️❤️

I think one time Jenn explained it as she was looking for a place to live in college, and Tim and her had mutual friends from high school (I think they knew each other but weren't good friends yet) so she heard he had a room opening at his house and moved in. Then they started dating, got engaged, and married. They explain it sometimes in the Q&A videos.

The taco in the Fritos bag.....Here in Nebraska its called a Walking Taco. Its served at all the sporting events. Its amazing!! So funny they had that there.

We have Walking Tacos. But they are in a Doritos Bag. We love them with Taco meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and sour cream.
Walking tacos are a staple at concessions stands at my kids sporting events. We have both Fritos and Doritios varieties. 😊
I’m from VA and they do it on Doritos and call it traveling nachos.
In Canada we call it taco in a bag!
That looks like a really good time. And I know all the wine tastings are just samples but if you do it right you will be sloshed by the end of the night. 🤣👌🏻

The fritos bag made me crack up a bit bc it reminded me of what prisoners do with fritos haha. They put stuff inside and eat out of chip bags making their own concoctions.

Here we have something similar to the walking taco called a Petro. From the bottom up it is, fritos, chili, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, green onion and sour cream. Yum! It started here in Knoxville during the '82 World's Fair.
The Frito pie, we make here with mini bags of doritos for camping tacos. We call them walking tacos and they're easier to eat if you crunch the bag a little and shake the toppings around a bit to even things out.
My biggest issue with moving from Iowa to KCMO is that they use fritos to make walking tacos. Doritos is the only way to go.

HA! I was wondering if anyone else was going to say it is a walking taco! Chicago here and yes Doritos is the way but a lot of people use hot Cheetos too... Yuck.,
I live in MO and I actually prefer the Fritos. The Doritos are too salty and get too soggy too fast. Just my 2 cents.

I love the focus on the "Walking Taco", "Taco in a Bag", "Frito Pie", etc. I never heard about them until I moved to Ohio and they had them at the county fairs...I was like, "Seriously, this is a thing to go out for?". I'm sure it made it down there from all of the midwesterners that flocked to Port Charlotte and Lakeland (not sure why those two FL cities are so popular for midwesterners other than they're used to being an hour away from things ;) ).
u guys should come to west mifflin Pa and check out kennywood. you guys would probably like it there!

We lived on Oahu for 8 years, and Kalua pig is something I really miss! My wife fixes this, but not nearly often enough! When you get the chance, do a trip to Aulani, and try some of the local foods in Hawaii! (NOT just at the resort, but out on the town)
We thought the weather was wonderful also. The vendors are each of the restaurants at both the Swan and Dolphin resorts. And you’re right. Shula’s is at the Dolphin.

The Fritos in a bag with taco (deconstructed taco) we call those walking tacos up in Michigan!

These food festivals seem like really expensive buffets--but they're not all you can eat. I don't quite get the allure. For example, the burger around 12:41 was 3 tickets. If a ticket book has 25 tickets and costs $65, that mini burger was $7.80. I feel like they give you the ticket books to discourage you from actually realizing how much you're spending for each item. It just seems like it'd be better to simply go to a nice buffet instead.
It really isn't an 'all you can eat' buffet, and it is not promoted as one. To me, it's almost more like a prix fixe menu, but with choices.
I agree. But, if there is two of you, is $240 worth an evening of peopling with folks who are intoxicated or would you rather drop the bills with your sweetheart at like the California Grill or Citricos?
I believe it’s mostly about the entertainment value. Yeah you can get a better deal on a good meal.. but I think it’s fun to walk around exploring little edible tid bits from different booths. I think the food+fun is really what makes these things popular.
Some people like being out with live music and people and good times sharing good food instead of sitting at a snooty table with other snooties.
That Frito bag mix, here in Mexico we ate it but with Doritos with salsa, lime and some other things, your version looks interesting too. If u wanna see how ours looks like, look for: dorilocos

I bet that pork was really good. If you want probably a similar taste; in a slow cooker, cook a pork shoulder according to the directions that you usually cook one. Then if you add some smoked barbeque sauce and throw in some pineapple chunks towards the end. I bet you'd have some really good pork sandwiches for everyone in your party. Some people might even want to sear the pork shoulder first and then put it in the slow cooker, but either way I'm sure it would end up delicious.
In the midwest, we call the "Frito pie" a "walking taco". They're so good.

Kalua pig is sooo good! I've made it at home with my husband in the instant pot (the pig and cabbage portion, I think the rice was cooked separately) and it turned out really good. The combination of pork, cabbage, and sticky rice is so yummy.

I've pretty much only watched this channel the last month. Super binge....But I've always loved amusement parks and horror nights anywhere etc. I would love hanging with Tim and Jenn.
