Have you been to an XG show? Or are you still waiting for XG to grace your city with their presence?😁 Any theories for the whole ticket situation at Wembley?
Good review. I saw them in the US twice actually and there wasn't any ticket issues I was aware of. It appears they only played in small venues though ranging from 6-9,000 people capacity. Maybe the larger capacity of the arena caused some issues. I did have issues with AXS the app though, absolutely hate that app!
@@strangeclouds7Ticketmaster and AXS apps are both a bit of a pain!!😅 Good thing you've been to see them twice in smaller venues. More intimate. When they next come back, they'll need bigger venues 😉
Such a brilliant breakdown and video. Nice to see you representing us mature Alphaz. Yes, that was Simon. His sets are usually based on paying back gratitude to native artists. However, the sets can vary in style and music choices. You could argue that it's his show. However, many Alphaz attending give him the huge welcome to match that of which the girls receive. I'm a 48 year old male UK, Alphaz. I love everything these girls stand for. I am extremely proud of them and can't wait to see videos of them wiping the floor at Coachella 2025. Their stylists and costume department are some of the most creatively talented people on the planet. Definitely light years ahead of anyone else. UK Alphaz love XG XGLAX ❤️ 🔥🐺👽🫰👏🇬🇧
@@AW-Services Good to see another vintage Alphaz fan 😜 I think his set is a great idea, why not? I might have chosen a few more contemporary artists to rep the UK but I totally appreciated the Craig David and the Spice Girls mixed. Coachella is going to be nuts. There's a whole world out there that is yet to experience the joy of XG! 🎶👌🏾🐺
Excellent breakdown of events. Any critique you have, as long as it's honest, is 100% valid. Because you actually purchased the product being sold, the organization should pay attention to your experience and find ways to improve overall. I'm sure they will because their team actually watch TH-cam reactions,so commentary from patrons like yourself is surely welcomed.
@@magissemperdeficiet4259 Yes, I would always give an honest opinion, I hope, not in an offensive or super negative way. As I mentioned in the video, they were just observations because let's face it, the girls were amazing!!
I filmed my concert with Samsung S22 Ultra, which is an older model but it still works perfect. The "ultra" phones have the 10x zoom lens which is the BEST for concerts. The clarity getting upclose is phenomenal.
Yeah I don’t know if Simon has a grasp of what London might want. 😂 but I think he’s had some successful sets stateside as well. I think most people agree that the concert flow is a bit off but I think that’s pretty common with first tours. I remember Gidle was a mess early on. I think they had some issues with seating/and also merch lines etc. The seating got switched very late, it’s really the only time I’ve seen that. I have their fan app and it was chaotic on there all day.
@@michaeln3044 I guess as XG are rooted in more of an r'n'b, rap genre I was surprised to hear Elton John 😂 Yeah, he's British but...🤷🏾♀️😆 Oh well, I still had a fabulous time. I can only imagine how amazing they'll be on their next tour, eh!??🙏🏾👌🏾🔥
@ yeah I really wanna see how their stage stuff evolves in terms of non girl centric production. I agree though, Chisa has felt like she’s putting on her own concert at these stops during her solo stuff.
Saw them in Dallas and LA, I also think the DJ set was a little odd, the concert as a whole in both cities went pretty smooth though. As you mentioned being their first world tour I'm sure they're still trying to figure things out. I think it's crazy how they've been able to pull off a world tour, all while continuing to put out new music, music videos, do stage shows in Korea. Those girls and the whole team are insanely hardworking.
The DJ break songs, I believe caters to the location, of course it will not cater to all likings. The break duration, inmho depends on the girls wardrobes/costumes/accessories...I mean it's XG....or technicalities we'll never know. Being sold out does not mean the whole venue is utilized. Labels/Companies sometimes require a number of seats only.
@@P0ch1ta I got the UK connection with the choice of songs. Just wasn't my taste of all the UK music they could have chosen but like I said, wasn't so bad that it ruined my evening 😆 The breaks I referred to weren't the costume breaks though, I'd expect those to have longer gaps. But something was definitely odd about the ticketing. If the whole venue isn't being used, why sell tickets for the whole venue?🤷🏾♀️
The gaps between songs are so the girls can recover, check on technical issues. Have you tried doing XG choreography for 2 hours? Simon's set is a costume change fill in. Sometimes there are hidden hints of future songs. Manchester was standing. London was always fully seated.
@@nev_mid_uk Valid point about the break between songs when the group were onstage 👍🏾 I'd probably need a foot massage and a nap!😂 Yep I know the DJ set was a costume change. I was commenting on the voice of music, personal opinion of course. Not sure about London though ..I have a screen shot of the Ticketmaster site that indicated VIP unreserved standing tickets 🤷🏾♀️
London was not always fully seated, I bought my tickets as GA and was assigned seats only about a week before (which all in all I was grateful for as I would not have wanted to queue in that weather!!), my Ticketmaster account shows 4 tickets, 2 cancelled GA and 2 reserved seating ones.
@@DizPunch Thank you for confirming what I said in the video! I was beginning to think I had been hallucinating about the standing tickets at London. The only time I've done VIP was for Eric Nam's There and Back Again tour in 2022, and that was standing. Never again! My legs and back were wrecked by the end of the day (although the concert was fab)!! 😄
