i am binging the playlist. it is informative. but unlike few videos these are all written. i would love someone speaking and i do my work in background. with writing i cannot leave the screen.
What a beautiful form of art. I would love to teach my American students about rangoli, but don't want to disrespect the Hindu religion or the Indian people. Would it be offensive to teach a simple floral pattern and show this video to explain the cultural and religious importance of rangoli?
i believe that so long as you teach them the history and significance of it(and not for monetary profit), it would be done in good faith and I wouldn't see an issue with it

Are you trying to convert American students to Indian religions? This topic does fall under the category of "Religion" and the video gave a clear example of why Rangoli is used: Marriages, Religious ceremonies, etc. As a American, who may or may not have a student in your class, I object to you teaching, my child/student, religions that I do not approve of and would please ask you to refrain from preaching what you do not know and even if you were to know you are going against school policies in converting the minds of innocent. You are not authorized to preach, in other words.
@@dragulaareyouready2957 I had a history teacher teach us religion, was she trying to convert us? No. She was just teaching us the different types of religion. That's it.
