    Hello thank you for the great information. I am planning to start indian vegetables garden for first time. I am in zone 3 and last frost date is April 24th.
    When should I start planting seeds. Can I start growing seeds in pots indoors and then repot outside in April.

      Hello, you can start most of the indian vegetables indoors and transplant out side after mid May for your zone. Please make sure your night time temperatures are constantly above 50 for at least a week before planting indian vegetables outside.

      Hi Sujatha, we live in zone 6b, Ashburn, VA. Some of the 6 cell pots in the video were saved from the plants we used to buy from nurseries. We recently started using the below pots for our farm.

      I have used garden soil in my in ground beds. And potting soil in containers. I don’t change soil every year but mix cow manure into the soil before planting.

      Hi, I usually start all my gourds indoors late March to early April. And transplant in to the ground around May 10th. You can direct seed them first week of May, right after the last frost date.

      Ohh ok. Did you try Amazon prime by any chance? I don’t think the seeds from store bought okra would be mature enough to be planted. I have never tried and saw anyone growing like that. I might be wrong though.
