I never seen someone "barely survived!" One single time of my life when I started playing this game and I always get mortal damage or I survived with like 3 or 4 hp
Man as a medic this is pain because having almost everyone die in one hit is crazy and trying to stay alive is a bit pain but sometimes im a attacker and i will stay as a attacker now because I did like i think like 16 damage one time
We love taking 49 damage from freeze + hard mode + 4 player damage multi + -1 armor. Also the medic keeps dying, I wish there was some sort of taunt ability for like a tank character.
I also beat this guy on hard mode! But my strategy was more to invest in hp and hp only I only took mortal damage once because I failed an ice block that dealt 24 damage I healed with 2 Hp left
Basically think as taking mortal damage as a countdown, it goes down slowly giving you enough time to heal back hp even after you have “0 HP” so it gives you a chance just to get back up

The crossbow guy was legit the final boss, the fact that most people don't know that he actually has two attacks makes him more unpredictable.

To be completely honest, while we were playing hard mode off camera, I died the most to the crossbow knight the most out of all the enemies.
Tip: Click quickly regardless of what you THINK the next one is. Then, if it’s crossbow fire, you’ll be safe. If not, click when it’s time.

The damage will increase depending on how big the party is. Although if you add hard mode to that, it’ll triple the damage me and my friends take 4:13

It says "barely survived" so technically they should be alive with 1 hp even if not healed.

The problem was we had already started the run and had planned to continue to the pit, but I can only record up to 10 mins of gameplay on xbox

Do not forget that all status effects are nullified when defending.
