I have to say this dude, your way in illustrating the technique is awesome in terms of speed, usually I watched tutorials in slow mo, but here it's great ... thanks :)
at 7:50 when you click and grey out the constraint... did you hold down a key to access a shortcut to do this? or did xcode7 eliminate this action? I can't figure out how to easily grey out constraints like this...
I put a label at the top center of the view. It contains two words and the character size is 67. However, I can never get the constraints to match up. When I add constraints I get no errors, however, it is never where I want it to be with all formats. I've been trying to figure this out for hours now and it is very frustrating. Please help.
Hee, i am using Xcode 8.3 and i am having a problem with auto resize ,while making calculator storyboard ,and i am unable to fix the middle part (there are 4 columns and 5 rows similar to apple calculator).please help me
Good video - nice speed! One improvement would be to quickly explain what the orange lines mean for newbies. For practice I'm cloning the IOS Calculator, so I'm trying to figure out how to create buttons that change size and location relative to the size of the screen they're being displayed on. (I'm crossing my fingers that aspect ratio might be the key.) Thanks again!
Thanks for the video. I tried to add few buttons and labels and can't get the same layout in landscape mode. Could you please post a video on that as a tutorial. e.g.. user, password, login, register. Portrait mode works but landscape doesn't. Im kinda newbie to coding. Thanks in advance
Great, Thanks for this video. Other video's didn't show how to line up against other objects. I could make it work for one size but not another. Now this should help my layout fit all sizes. Thanks again. Keep up the good work. (Subscribing now...)
It is if you didnt purchase osx lion and upgraded to one of the newer versions of osx. Plus osx runs terribly in a vm and I have a 4th gen i7, gtx 980, and 32 gigs of ram in my windows pc. The only vm that isnt as big of a pain in the butt to run it in is vmware.
Haha, no. You can right click on your mouse to connect things as well. It's what I do all the time. I'm just letting people know there is two methods. :)
Filmed this video at about 6:00 AM, so please excuse my drowsiness during this video!
Hope you enjoyed! :)
Equal widths at 04:50...why are you adjusting the sizes manually instead of using the tools provided to automatically adjust?

Thanks man. Really helpful :D
Can you make a video on how to put x code on windows
Minecraft magic XCode is exclusive to mac computers unless you run a vm and can actually get osx working which is borderline illegal
You can't really do that. I would recommend looking into a cheap used Mac, just for coding (running Xcode).

Michael Hodge yosemite works perfectly in vmware but with BeamOff app, i5 4670k, 8gb, intel graphics
"Right click-- or control click and drag.." Mate... You said this every time you meant to say "control click and drag"
Haha, no. You can right click on your mouse to connect things as well. It's what I do all the time. I'm just letting people know there is two methods. :)
Ahhh! I thought you were correcting yourself each time! Okay, makes a lot more sense.

Constraints have to be the worst part of ios development
thanks man !
you are very good at explaining the videos but brother , constraints are explained with more simplicity in other videos.
Thanks for the tip, I'll try to find simpler ways of doing tutorials like this in the future. :)
hi
right click or cotrlclck
great tutorial but you have to stop saying "click ctrl or click and drag" or whatever you say there - this is VERY annoying!!
