  • Hello :-) This is a long-overdue vlog that I've been meaning to put together. I took a very memorable work trip to Whitehorse over the summer. Work was busy, but there was still plenty of time to explore. Luckily, my boss lent me his car and I was able to take trips outside the city too. As I usually did whenever I travelled, I had a wonderful time exploring all the cafes in and around town. I'm still in love with those giant spelt and raspberry scones. And, of course, all the hiking trails. I even got to see a bit of the northern lights!
If you're looking to travel to Whitehorse, I've highlighted a couple of great spots in and around town to start your adventures. I'm really looking forward to being back!

01:07: Baked Cafe & Bakery (biggest cafe in town, the best spelt scones and cinnamon buns)
01:41: White Pass & Yukon Railroad (great for pictures when they're closed)

depending on your definition cold, yes. Early summer can still get cold ~ 5 C / 40-45F later in the evening. I went late summer (Aug - early Sept) and it was quite warm during the day (t-shirt/shorts) and chilly early morning and evenings (need windbreaker or light down jacket)
