I don’t think so. Anthem was a case of EA being EA. The developers didn’t know what the game was supposed to be like until after that reveal trailer, meaning all the we’re doing was emulating what was shown in a scripted, later found out, animated trailer. The developers for Avengers would not dare do that, especially with the reputation of their studio and Disney being on the line if they did.
If you want to know more about this game, look up the youtube channel quest mode because he goes over everything square enix and the developers has confirmed about this game and most of the game mechanics.That's if you want to.

@@elijahb30 it hasnt though?, the biggest complaint is that it sounds like a destiny or anthem styled game, the more we hear about it the more it sounds like the case, there no open world and is a linear game, the combat we've seen so far looks pretty dull and average except maybe thor, endgame is is raid and dungeon style things like destiny and anthem, this game is described as a live service looter (anthem, destiny and divison are in this section)

Om Shah You don’t need to play a game to know its genre. If someone says they wished this was a more straightforward, no-frills, single player open world experience (like Spider-Man PS4), they don’t need to wait for the game to release when it’s obvious that this game isn’t that.

i have the same gut feeling about Avengers as i did with Anthem and fallout 76 (before launch) but the same TH-camrs were trying to hype Anthem and Fallout 76 up because in return they get stuff off the devs, for example Jor will get Valhalla for free and he's already got The Last of Us 2 free and was repeating the process of trying to hype it up to increase sales just from this video it seems so much like destiny and anthem with the crappy skill tree, power rating, loot gear, looks and sounds like a looter live service game with an avengers skin slapped on, which is a shame really i was hoping for the quality of the awesome spiderman ps4 game

They're going with their own story which is completely fine and better than having a game of the movies in my opinion. The story will be really good, there's gonna be AIM, Modok, Kree, twists and turns and 12 to 15 hour long campaign along with multiplayer warzones and hero chain missions. And don't judge Ms Marvel because her gameplay was all the way back in September 2019 so it'll be wayy better now. On one hand I am hyped for this game because it lets you play as these iconic marvel characters in a proper AAA game but on the other hand I am a bit disappointed because personally I would've like to see it be open world where you can play and switch to any character on the fly (don't how you can switch, maybe via the menu and then the character you are playing as swoops away and the other comes in). I don't really know what to think of it. Personally I do not like that we are going to get regions. Or at least let us explore and interact with the iron man mansion and stark tower. Like that you can walk to the lower level of the house and then equip an iron man suit for a different occasion or when you are not there but you are in the region where the house is or another region that it just comes over to you like in the movies where Tony is without a suit. Or like when you are in stark tower that when you go on the circle platform when you walk in or out that you can choose to let the iron man suit be put on or be taken off by the robots in the walkway. If you watched the MCU movies with the stark tower when he is outside of stark tower in his Iron man suit and walking in then you know what I mean. I also think that in terms of release it is not really a smart window for them. Because and I know a lot of people should expect this to be said, on september 17th Cyberpunk 2077 is going to come out and that is of course going to be a huge Hype and attraction and big game. The in depth RPG like cyberpunk maybe has a smaller fanbase than common action adventure RPG but cyberpunk 2077 is still going to be one of the best selling games of the year and maybe Witcher 3 if that has set any example in sales of a product by CDPR. In terms of release for the avengers game I would've personally gone with a date in early november/december because if I have it right then the new assassins creed will come out somewhere in the holiday season so like late december and that is also going to be a big game with a large fanbase.
@Mehmet Jinadu uhmmm... free roaming in an open world as super heroes is best thing they could have done... they do not need to do anything... flying around as iron man or thor is good enough... look at spiderman... free roaming as him is so cool.. imagine pouncing around as Hulk or jumping around buildings as Kamala khan... it would have been so much better... i know its too early to judge but free roaming as a superhero in a huge city is breathtaking and it think they are missing out out a huge opportunity with this one...

They said u can play this game for years to come with *free dlc packs* including new characters, *regions* and mission's. Would u want to just explore just NYC for about 5 years or rather get a chance to free roam in some of the many iconic marvel locations from the comics.

Seeing a lot of negativity in the comments. Maybe negativity is too harsh a word but guys. Think about the fact that this will be the first multiplayer experience of its kind. In a superhero game ! This will set a particular bar in the genre and I think it will actually surprise a lot of people. Jus like days gone did.
So, for the single player, does anyone know if u can play through the game as a single character, or if you’ll be forced to swap as the story progresses.
This game has been one interesting ride so far. A game that was teased years ago in a short teaser that got people HYPED, only to kill the hype years later with the reveal trailer and then go M.I.A on us for months and reveal that the game isn't open-world (a much desired aspect). A Marvel-based project with so little hype is a delightfully unusual paradox.
Whenever I think about this game I can't help but always be of the opinion that Monkey D. Luffy is the only person to have successfully pulled off rubber powers in recent years.
Y'all should stop hating on the game, it's not even out yet. The Campaign will be about 12 to 15 hours, and it'll be very thrilling, it's not just AIM, there is an even bigger, badder enemy for the endgame of the story but I'll avoid spoilers. And how could you judge on it being BORING since it's pre-alpha state footage way back in September 2019. But with additional multiplayer content and hero chain missions, without replaying, the whole game would be like over 30 hours long, with frequent content coming post-launch which is not too often for a triple a singleplayer/multiplayer game. For y'all saying it's not interesting or it's boring, get interested and do some research. There are many many great reasons that lots of people are excited for this game. It's very unique, not copying the MCU or comics entirely, just taking inspiration. So just stop hating, you don't know anything about the game, it'll be nothing like Anthem, maybe the best superhero game so far, maybe even game of the year, don't hate just wait and seeeee......

Seeing a lot of negativity in the comments. Maybe negativity is too harsh a word but guys. Think about the fact that this will be the first multiplayer experience of its kind. In a superhero game ! This will set a particular bar in the genre and I think it will actually surprise a lot of people. Jus like days gone did.
So, for the single player, does anyone know if u can play through the game as a single character, or if you’ll be forced to swap as the story progresses.

This game has been one interesting ride so far. A game that was teased years ago in a short teaser that got people HYPED, only to kill the hype years later with the reveal trailer and then go M.I.A on us for months and reveal that the game isn't open-world (a much desired aspect). A Marvel-based project with so little hype is a delightfully unusual paradox.

Whenever I think about this game I can't help but always be of the opinion that Monkey D. Luffy is the only person to have successfully pulled off rubber powers in recent years.

Y'all should stop hating on the game, it's not even out yet. The Campaign will be about 12 to 15 hours, and it'll be very thrilling, it's not just AIM, there is an even bigger, badder enemy for the endgame of the story but I'll avoid spoilers. And how could you judge on it being BORING since it's pre-alpha state footage way back in September 2019. But with additional multiplayer content and hero chain missions, without replaying, the whole game would be like over 30 hours long, with frequent content coming post-launch which is not too often for a triple a singleplayer/multiplayer game. For y'all saying it's not interesting or it's boring, get interested and do some research. There are many many great reasons that lots of people are excited for this game. It's very unique, not copying the MCU or comics entirely, just taking inspiration. So just stop hating, you don't know anything about the game, it'll be nothing like Anthem, maybe the best superhero game so far, maybe even game of the year, don't hate just wait and seeeee......
