Great video. The point of prospecting is NOT to sell. The point is to find people with a pain that you can make go away and start a conversation with those people.
Thank you for this video!! It came at a great time. I am a real estate agent and I really hate making calls only because I hate to feel like I am bothering people. After watching this video I am going to make 30 calls today and go at it with the I can solve your problem and create awareness. My objective has always been to get in the house on that call but I am going to shift that thinking to make them aware that I am out there and I really care about their situation. Thank you!! Wish me luck!
you are the first person I have heard talk about sales from a standpoint of the issues I have experienced. Shake the trees until projects fall out, get busy working to get them built and installed neglecting sales the whole time, then stone cold dead a month after the last install. It was a crushing cycle.
Thanks Mike! Clear and concise and just what I needed to hear - just rewrote my whole sales call opener after watching your vid and it’s more natural/ more me. Feel ready to attack the market once again with a more positive mindset of a “problem solver” as opposed to “please buy my service please” lol. THANK YOU again!
Been a Handyman professionally for 10 months. This week I created a yelp page. Next I am going to work on becoming a Home Depot referral pro. The lead agencies call me daily. I tell them I dont pay for leads they still call. Found that word of mouth and referrals work best. Working to advertise more. My repeat clients have kept me very busy this January.
Most of my prospects are already done deals with all my business contracts Using the phone is useless I have no corporate numbers and I prefer to network successfully as a thriving entrepreneur Heres is my resume- Record Deal-closed Real Estate Authority closed-Male supermodel closed-Best selling author closed-Gold-closed-Photography closed-actor closed-you get the picture I close big-ticket deals that's just what I do prospecting are for amateurs I am already in the big leagues as a tycoon I do big things just look at my track record.
Would sending a LinkedIn message - which the prospect can read at his convenience - be good over calling them in the midst of the day? Basically why is (perception possibly) phone call considered superior over written message? Do phone calls get better Yess's?
Every customer is different. So you have to use what your skill sets are but calls are always going to get better conversations than DMs. But DMs can be good to set up a good call
What is your biggest fear when you are prospecting for your business?

I simply don't know how to even begin Prospecting for leads. Other than cold calls, door signs or business card handing out.
Strong. This will help my agents tremendously
How did it go for your agents?
