Hi Robert just leaving craters of the moon. We stayed 2 nights at the campground. It was very peaceful and super quiet . At night you can see the Milky Way and billions of stars. We were planning on a one night but this place is spectacular ❤️we did everything including the caves. If you ever go back please do the caves you will not regret. They are so much fun to explore. It is an experience you will never forget. Not scary at all just pure magic❤️❤️❤️❤️

My grandparents lived in Arco Idaho back in the 50’s and 60’s. I have many memories visiting them when I was a kid so imagine my delight when I saw you driving thru! It almost a ghost town now but it was so fun seeing it pop up on your video today. You really do go EVERYWHERE Robert🤣

Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎸🎸, definitely no Pelicans in Idaho, however we get to see such amazing lava fields and caves at Craters of the Moon National Monument. What a surprisingly and stunning landscape, and that huge cone, absolutely SPECTACULAR!! This year of 2021 I will resume visiting National Parks that I haven't been too. Glacier National Park and Big Bend are very high on my list. I will definitely visit Craters of the Moon as part of Glacier trip, and revisit Yellowstone and Grand Teton. This was a fantastic video Robert👍👍👍. Looking forward to the next video.

I am ashamed to admit I had no idea of the beautiful landscapes found in Idaho. The craters reminded me of the area on the Canary island of Lanzarote. Just as amazing and fascinating. You, my friend, have given me so many tips of wonderful sites to see and I thank you! Sorry Idaho, thought you had only farmland for potatoes.......

Hi Robert! I love Craters of the Moon!
I remember thinking up to the top of that inferno come and the climb is very deceptive - Maybe because it's such a smooth incline it's hard to tell how large it is. A couple of times I thought I was almost to the top and then another incline appeared!
I also remember descending into some of the mini caves formed within the volcanic material.
This is a must do - Would love to go back again to film for my channel :)
Take care and travel safe :)

Your videos are such a joy to watch. I just finished your other Idaho video and would love to see more! I am now watching this video and it is great as well. I think the money you spent on your mic was well worth it!. One of the reasons I like your videos is because you don't have the intrusive music!! I hope you keep it that way.......keep it up bud and thank you.

When you are bailing hay, you don’t have to stop for the square bales. They just slide out. You have to stop and eject the round bails or they will roll away. I think the round bails are more resistant to rain. We do round bails in my part of OK.

Craters of the moon... I remember that place quite well, even though I was only a few years old at the time. We visited the place back in the early 60s, and my memory is of less trees and greenery, but otherwise just as beautiful (and warm... and windy). There was also a place we went near (or in?) the park where we looked for red obsidian (legally). I don't remember finding any, but there was some in rocks I had from when I was young, so maybe we did. It's one of the places I dream of returning to, if possible. (We camped in the campground, which was a lot more primitive at the time - only tents and firewood brought in from outside the park according to what I recall.)
This video brought back some amazing memories for me. BTW - the town you passed through just before you arrived at Craters was the first town (or city?) with electricity generated by nuclear power, and that region has a long and major part in the development of nuclear power (including the first accident).

Hi Robert. I just started watching you about a week ago. I think I have had your theme song stuck in my head for about as long. Really- I am humming it in the damn grocery store. I'm going nuts. Maybe I need to be free in an rv to get over it.
I enjoyed this video alot. I'm from southern idaho. It's always interesting to hear people new to the area talk about it. Keep on trucking.

I'll tell you what, you need a four season rig and a snow plow to get to these falls in most winters. I was there in April, no less, and I was snowed in for three days, and that was with a four wheel drive.
[EDIT] Your new mike is fantastic. If I didn't see all the vegetation blowing in the wind I would never have guessed you were in such high winds. It was worth whatever you paid for it!
