Leo didn't break the Law as there was aspects of that document released to the public before hand & under the Tallaght Strategy (the Key piece of legislation that lead to the Celtic Tiger) was to make public sector pay deals.... well.... public. A f...k load of the wheat and animal feed for the Irish Food/Agricultural sectors comes from Ukraine..... If Michael is out there he isn't making any mistake here..... threaten Putin with making Eamon "Eejit" Ryan a member of the Russia Government & the War would end over night.

The government could nationalise energy companies in order to keep costs low while putting all of the revenue back into funding government programmes.
The rightwing French government has done this themselves, there's no reason we can't.
Plus the grid was ORIGINALLY publically owned, and since it was sold off Ireland has ended up amongst the top 3 in Europe for expensive energy prices.

I don’t think the issue is money. We have plenty of money, and resources. It’s the toxic set up of councils, and departments that don’t wanna see change. There’s no real organisation within the government. I think whoever is in power next needs to sort that out. We need future focused ideas. And listen to the data. We need to be building 50k+ houses a year and investing in infrastructure now otherwise this will go on for years and year and destroy our future families lives. My folks got lucky, the bought in Dublin on a single teacher salary, the house now with well over a million, me and my partner can’t afford to buy anywhere near here. And that’s just tip of the ice burg. It shouldn’t be a depending on inheritance or if you don’t have inheritance you get nothing. Should be the land of opportunities. Get an education or apprenticeship and you should be able to build a life. It’s just impossible at the moment. And one bad thing happens are you in a hotel room or sleeping rough. It’s a load of balls. I’m not a Sinn Fein voter. But we need change. And they need a shot to fix this mess.

What any government should do is to immediately start a massive social house building project in Ireland, we need 30,000 new social housing units every year for at least the next ten years just to keep up with housing needs and our growing population.
