- Luxury British makeup brand Charlotte Tilbury has recently launched in India through Nykaa (Nykaa.com). Even though they firmly have inclusivity as their mantra, not every lip colour though is suitable for Indian skin.
I am a huge Charlotte Tilbury fan and almost all makeup I own is by her. That includes lots of her lipsticks and in this video I will be showing how these actually look when worn by the average desi girl. I will also be talking about my honest opinion and tell you my hits and misses! These are expensive items even by UK standards and before you spend hard-earned money make sure you go for the right product.

We are Pritha (Bibi), a doctor & a dancer and Vikram (Babu), a corporate guy. We are from Incredible India, having spent most of our lives in the beautiful city of Kolkata, and have now made London our home.
We first met when we were seven years old (I) and have been inseparable since. Perhaps it is the desire for looking good and good living that have kept us bonded over the years. Whilst both of us share a deep love for fashion, Pritha is also an incurable makeup addict and Vikram is crazy about fitness. Pritha also suffers from wanderlust, which is convenient as Vikram works in the travel industry and enjoys driving.

I love Charlotte tilbury matte lip stains as I don’t use much use of traditional lipstick.. my favorite one is dangerous liaison .. I just love it 😍

Thanks for this. I recently bought pillow talk medium which is my first CT lipstick. I’m glad I didn’t go for the original pillow talk. I do like the look of Bond girl and walk of shame on you. So Marilyn reminds me of my fave Mac lipstick called Mac Red.

I didn't know they renames the shades! I wear Birkin brown and bond girl daily and just thought they were discontinued or not available in india!. These are the only lipsticks I will actually finish before expiry so I'll definitely repurchase them
Both names have changed. Birkin brown is so 90s and bond girl is mi6 ❤️🙂

It probably won't wash you out, but it won't show much pigment either. If you want a flush of colour, then they'll be good

Are these transfer proof? And how long do they stay on?
They are not classed as transfer proof from what I know. But they stay for a really long time. And they don't transfer to clothes or drinking glasses.

Love how you demonstrate lipsticks STRAIGHT to the point ...that ORIGINAL pillow talk looks horrible on me im a light brown girl...Indian skin colors are almost exactly like like BLACK women skin color

This brand is awful for Indian skin tones. There is absolutely nothing outstanding. Revlon has same stuff. All their foundation are so yellow undertones. And their lipstick literally looks all the same. I only noticed a few changes between the lipstick colors. Mac is far better.
I don't quite agree with this. I've very average Indian skin tone. And I love their products. I have always found items that suit both my summer and winter skin tones
