last fall Filipe put a new set of heels on my 1960's combat boots, (I was issued them in Marine Corps Bootcamp MCRD in 1965). I have had numerous heels and soles replaces since then, but they are still going strong. Filipe does excellent work, is friendly, and inexpensive. I highly recommend him.
Wow!! If those boots could talk!! Felipe is absolutely a wonderful guy, I spent about 10 mins talking to him when I visited. I ended up buying a shoehorn from him that I use almost every day!
It was a coincidence that he had the same name as the street. The street was actually named after the Chester Land Co., which was owned by brothers Julius and George Chester. One of them owned a store on the street that became Chester Ave.

Cool , was the street named after the builder? Nice that it still stands and serves the community.
