Israel has killed, abused, incarcerated and stolen the land of Palestinians for 75 years. On Jan 6th Israel held 5,000 Palestinian Hostages, so on Jan 6th Hamas took 240 Israeli Hostages. That's a partial context.
I think you mean 10/7/23, or maybe October 6th, the day before.... January 6th is a whole other issue, which the US is finally dealing with. But the fact that one group was a non-state actor ostensibly carrying out actions against settler colonial oppressors, and the other was a group of far right privileged hooligans attacking their own Capitol/legislature because they didn't like the outcome of an election are Vastly different situations.

I don't know, but if channel can't correct errors like this. What else are they getting wrong? Spitting Image made a recent return to ITV, after decades off the screen. So even if none of those involved in the channel know the original, they should have heard about the reboot. The presenter was even a Brit, making it more likely. It just reinforces the fact, that you shouldn't believe all you see or hear. It's easy for errors to be perpetuated.
