    Did you really stop doing this 5 years ago? Yikes. I just saw one of your first ones and realized it was one of the best lessons I ever saw on the use of "para." I've been working on Spanish for about 3 months now, mostly online, and there's a lot these online courses don't explain. Why did you stop? You were doing great!

    Hey paul, will you make another mini course with other tenses. Like we and they us them etc. One more awesome mini course would be great. If not thats ok. I get it. I will buy your course soon anyway. You are the best teacher. You are so appreciated. And also some new words replacing want and need with others like maybe enjoy or hate or whatever is used the most i trust youd know. Never have i ever seen such a curriculum so well thought out. Amazing!

    The best thing that can happen to you in learning Spanish is 'Spanish with Paul'. Excelente, Fantastico and perfecto.
    As a Pakistani Muslim, i have found Spanish the easiest language in the world to learn. We have an added advantage of English that is the second language of the our country, First is Urdu. Now we don't have to learn around 2000 words in Spanish from English, a slight change according to the Spanish grammar and the word is turned into spanish. Secondly there are hundreds of words that we use in our daily conversation in urdu. Urdu language is a mix of Turkish, Arabic and Persian. The meaning is almost same like, pagar, maize, camisa, derracha, areeba and on and on, but with a slight difference is pronunciation that sometimes go unnoticed. !Gracias querido, Paul!

    The examples with "probarme" made me think of the Spanish saying "Si el saco te viene, póntelo" ("If the coat fits, put it on."). It's the Spanish equivalent of our "If the shoe fits, wear it." :-)

    How are "I want to go" and "I want to leave" different? I feel as if I use them interchangeably in English. I follow the concatenation of "me" to "ir".

    • @SpanishWithPaul
      @SpanishWithPaul  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the sentence because you can say something like "necesito ir a la tienda" (I need to go to the shop) but if you said (I want to leave to the shop) it doesn't make sense. Ir and Irse are only connected in certain circumstances.

    Entonces, cuando el pronombre reflexivo se da al comienzo de las oraciones, todavía es "leave", "put on makeup" o "try on"? Gracias por todo. Edit: I think I answered my own question. Regardless of your locál, is making a reflexive pronoun sit at the front of a sentence best useful when you need a helper verb between it and the reflexive verb? Como, "Me puedes ir" está "I'm leaving" instead of "I can leave myself"? Leaving oneself sounds like a neat trick! N'est-çe pas? BTW I have purchased your premium membership, ultimate drills and spanish in reverse.

    • @connorbush8868
      @connorbush8868 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dr.Fatimah Uthman “aquí” simply means “here,” while “que” can mean a number of things. It usually means “that,” but in the example, it is used in “tengo que,” which is an expression to say “I have to.”

    No me gusta probar la comida y tu vestido. ¿Cómo te gustarías te probas la camisa otra vez porque eres bonita cuando te pintas ?
    Do i need to change conjugation when i want to say you make up or you try on ? te pintas and te probas or pintarte and probarte?

    • @KurogamiProductions
      @KurogamiProductions 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Native Spanish speaker here:
      •_Probar_ is an irregular verb so, in this case, you don't _probas_ but _pruebas_ instead: 2nd person of singular and plural changes their conjugation.
      •_Probar_ can be used as to put, to put on, to try, to try on when referring to clothes; to taste or to try when referring to food; to defy, to try or to bet for other meanings.
      •Even in a vulgar/common/uneducated/popular form, you can say _pruébate_ -the 2nd person singular imperative form- to refer to food or dressing: prueba (pruébate) la sopa/pruébate el vestido.
      The same for _pintar/pintarse_ although it's regular verb: whilst _pintar_ is to paint, _pintarse_ means to put paint on or to make up yourself.
