No introduction needed here really with this massive 2000 club anthem from Ratty (who you may know better as Scooter). Still love this one though, and that breakdown gets me every time. So powerful
Still gives me goosebumps
Amazing tune I picked up in 2000, I had absolutely no idea it was by Scooter! 😂
The stuff they realesed was IMO awful, but credit to them for creating this, I would never in a Million years thought Scooter could produce such an amazing Trance Classic.
You learn something new every day they say tho.
Scotter produced trance music?! And of this caliber? I am flabbergasted...
I never knew this was Scooter. You learn something new every day 😊
Scooter who makes Industrial Dance?
Wow 😊
Scooter made this track under the name Ratty to prove themselves they can still make good music and get recognition even under a different name, it was at the time of their small creative crisis, they weren't sure which direction to go with their music (hence the track "Where Do We Go?" from 2000). "Sunrise" turned out to be a big hit after all. They also made a couple of references to the Ratty project in their official Scooter music. I'd expect no less from such genius as Scooter. Wicked! Probably nobody would have guessed that this was Scooter if they didn't release earlier the track "Expecting More From Ratty" in 1998, but experienced Scooter-ologists can easily hear the characteristic Scooter sounds and vibes in this tune. HP even aliased himself in this release as "Dave 'Bass' Parker" - like, come on HP... We all know that's you lol.
Love that tune 👌🏻🙌👏🏻😍
@Mark Kelly not before 2005
@Mark Kelly youve clearly never heard how much is the fish lol....
Tbf i like Stuggart, Endless Summer and Move your Ass by scooter
@@xradical89x and not after that as well
@Mark Kelly man, please... Scooter is a legend, you don’t know anything...
Been searching for this tune for 22 years..heard it played on radio one night.superb
Welcome home brother
Tunes like Ratty - Sunrise is the reason I love trance so much. I've been listening to tunes like this for over 25 years and I never get tired of listening to Trance. The best dance genre without a doubt!
We're all kerr's down here in Plymouth... and I gotta say , your taste in music is impeccable
The favourite track of one of my best friends who passed away 5 years in November this year! Never forgotten, memories forever ❤️🫶RF
❤🫂⭐😘🥱
The best track from Scooter. Without a doubt. Rick is a sound design genius :))
Don't think this track will ever get boring, could listen to it 1000 times and it would have the same effect every time
Because of the memories it brings back and hopefully some in the future still

My bone physically, literally chills when listening to... its such an anthem... brings me back to the golden years... glad to have lived it
21 years old and still shaking walls..
Actually brings a tear to my eyes this one ☝️
What a tune. Didnt know it was by scooter. It would still smash any dancefloor today.👌👌👌😁
I remember being in God's kitchen playing this tract, in a trance the crowd went berserk, if only could go back in time
😂ils nous reste la mémoire 😢
Amazing
I love scooter for life!!
Love this tune
Belter of a tune.prefer full long version. Was in a club doing lighting for a DJ mate one night about 16 years ago,he was having a bad night as The dance floor was empty,he asked me for help, so i suggested this,he played it, the whole place went bonkers and floor filled, you just cant be uplifting iconic belters like this.
Not heard this for years, sooo damn good ❤️❤️
Ajme koja ljepota
Feels so good to be alive ✨
I’ll never know why Scooter Didn’t do more great Tracks like this
They did. Just listen to their very first 2 albums. Many gems. Before they became too commercial :)
Scooter 😳😳wow !! I am amazed by this !!
Fantastic vocal. From 04:29, this track goes to another dimension. Such a pure, unique classic.❤
Big time! 🚀
Да,да,да, полностью согласен.Просто звуковой оргазм 🎉.
One of my top 10 favourite trance tracks of all time! The bass drop after the vocals is 👌
😍😍the memories....still gives me goosebumps ❤❤
Absolutely fantastic!!!
Just listened again and realised the lyrics are also used on Did I dream song to the siren Lost Witness another epic trance classic.
What a banga!!
Bet you’re from the uk
Scooter's good songs are very Under-rated, this band is considered cheese by some people. They have - Rhapsody in E, Cubic, Tranceatlantic, Back in time, Experience, Psycho, Coldwater Canyon, Shortbread, Eternity, Curfew, Cosmos., these songs are pure, pure gold, extremely under rated.
Watch Out! Soultrain !
Transcendental, Chinese Whisper, R U :) , Too Much Silence, Black Betty
made by Rick
Giant's causeway and Cordylinde!
Agreed! Been listening to all these tracks for long long years, and will continue so
Просто брилянтовий трек,який з рокам тільки набирає обертів
Scooooottteerr back in the house yeaaaaah. Instant classic one of the best

Absolute epic, trance was so good 20 plus years ago certainly no where near as good today thanks to you guy's for keeping them alive 👍
This is one of the all time great tunes, make no mistake, but there is some trance from the modern age that is just as good ✌💙
This is such an amazing classic
Absolute belter of a track💣💣😎😬😬
So good!!!
Definitely a contender for a top 10 spot
Up there this track... beautiful melodies and such a beautiful vocalist. Absolutely love it 🙌❤😍
Intense
Being a big trance lover of the 2000 era. I didn’t even know this was scooter until the comments below.
Trance isn’t like it was back then. But that breakdown. Eye balls in the back of your head moment 🤩🤩
Absolute belter of a tune. This track brings back so many memories of times when I just went out partying without a care in the world. Good times.
Naive times. Before this shot shite virus ruined everything.
If one track reminds you of being in Ibiza back in 2000 it's this!!
Temazo ;; IN TRANCE WE TRUST!!
Einfach ein mega geiler Track er hatte weiter in dieser Richtung machen sollen mega geil
SCOOTA pump it up!!
Absolute tuneage this is. Great track.
Trance classics The Number one channel where you can sit back relax and float away on the best classics ever produced
Just stumbled across this absolute banger recently, had totally forgotten about it but memories instantly hitting me in the bake 😍👊

Brings back memories
Offff I stared listening to trance when it was invented circa 92.. and still love everything about it- never heard of this but it is such a tunnnneeee - euphoric! 💛💣👍
Thanks brings back memories..
So beautiful. Vocals by "Cocteau Twins", I believe. Thanks a lot for sharing.💖👌👍
On the floating, shapeless oceans
I did all my best to smile
Til your singing eyes and fingers
Drew me loving into your eyes
And you sang:
"Sail to me, sail to me, let me enfold you"
Here I am, here I am waiting to hold you
Thanks!
Lyrics are from "Song To The Siren" by Tim Buckley, not sure who the vocalist is
that was easer to find than I thought it would be - it is Elizabeth Fraser of the Cocteau Twins
lumpy throat every time
@@dominicmcloughlin8463 i thought it was sampled from "this mortal coil"
the track & the vid will live forever!!!
Бомбический трек✌️😎🎧🎚️🎛️🎚️📡🎼🌪️🌪️🌪️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️
Согласен, круто!!!
Si un día pisamos otro planeta,me gustaría que este track sea bailado, escuchado como un himno que hace moverse a todo ser humano fly with me now !!!!
On the floating, shapeless oceans
I did all my best to smile
Til your singing eyes and fingers
Drew me loving into your eyes
And you sang:
"Sail to me, sail to me, let me enfold you"
Here I am, here I am waiting to hold you
Thank you from someone who doesn't speak english very well
❤️
what a classic
Now this is what I call anthemic Golden Era trance. So weird it's produced by Scooter, but then maybe not such a surprise because they've produced a few really beautiful tracks in the form of B-sides and album-only tracks (Rhapsody in E and Coldwater Canyon come to mind).
This is the most beautiful version of these lyrics ever. The singer is so talented.
Phew what a sound.
Beautiful track
Very nice!
Class, I remember first hearing the instrumental version of this on Beat 106 back in the day
Beat 106 was an awesome station 👌 best days of my life !!
Das Jahr 2000 hatte nur solche Banger Tracks.
This track is pure class
One of may favourites!!
I remember this being an early 2000s club anthem. Thank you for keeping the classics alive!
Scooter :)
When the tracks had a bit of a normal length for buildup etc. Love this classic❤
Exactly! Old Scooter (Rick Jordan in particular) had mastery over rhythm and proper energy flow in tracks (build-up and release). That has always been Scooter's strongest trait
Absolute monster of a tune..still sounds nuts.
Big room tune. Room at the top Bathgate Scotland, many many years ago.
Goosebumps of a song .
Owww now your talking! A real blast from the past - Thanks a million !
JFK @ Passion …. Such amazing memories.
Trance Classics constantly dropping the benchmark tracks that hold a special place in so many, real trance family doesn't have a language, colour or religion. Thanks a mill from Australia
Heard this song at planet love. Couldn't believe it was scooter until I bought it on vinyl. Fekin magic
Got to get this on vinyl
Keep them coming .1 of my all time favs
No words! Maybe one - Brilliant !
I was late to the show on this one. Bought the NEO records release on vinyl in 2001 after hearing the track for the first time on Gatecrasher - Discotech Generation.
There are records... and then there is this
Damm classic music
Scooter!!!
Holy shit this tune is fucking sick and it's the boys from scooter behind it, ratty needs to come back always been a fan another good remix they did was Marc et Claude loving you,. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome track. I have this same version. And to the Scooter haters... You have clearly only heard the occasional chart track they did. Some of their album tracks and b-sides are timeless, magical perfection. ❤
still here
03:30👌🏻👌🏻
Top ten of all time, if not inside the big three. Such a tune.
So this was on ZSJL! I was so happy to hear it. Although a slower version of it. The Flash!
What an amazing version that was! Made me revisit this song too :)
What a tract ,,, buzzing got goosebumps
Another one I'd forgotten. All praise the best channel on TH-cam for more pure filth 🙏
You're in the wrong aisle if you're looking for filth, you need to go to the Mokum Records aisle 🤣 🤙🏻
Has to be my favorite trance song of all time so far can't lie an I'm 30 so yea this shit slaps
I remember this track from Future Trance Vol. 15. The record I got from my uncle in 2001. I was 12 at the time... nostalgic.
Classic have it recorded 👌🏻 belter
wow - been a while since I heard this one. I used to have this one. Its kind of got the 'Darude - sandstorm' thing going on in this one
Good Old Dayz
Precioso recuerdo 😊😊❤❤
Hardtrance 😻
10 out of 10 wow
O.M.G. Guys! This is Tim Buckleys lyric Song to the Siren. Check it out! It's one for the BacktoMine collection and while you are at it, Song to the Siren by W.O.B. Dublin features my own poetry I Choose You. I didn't choose the title of the song, but I adore Tim Buckleys heart melting beautiful original. ♥ Tim Buckley - father of Jeff who never knew his Dad, both music heads, both died tragically young, left us gifted. 🤗😇
Offf the hook so many good memories. Sounds of darude sand storms
Omg what a hammering tuuuuuuuuune lol
