I’m currently enrolling in art school and am actively searching for a digital art tablet to dip my toes in. This was super informative thanks for the video❤
Thanks a lot (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و 💗💗 I'm still a beginner myself so there is not much I can teach others at this point but my next video will tackle on how I'am self studying animation on my own, hoping that will show u how I self study
I'm fine using pens without eraser because my workflow relies mainly on laptop keyboards to work. I can simply press E for instance and activate the eraser. THen B to select back my brush. You'll never have as many options as possible without keyboard shortcuts. So because of this, eraser button on stylus isn't an obligation for me. But I'm just speaking for myself. I also prefer Huion over Ugee.
hi love your drawings you inspired me to start digital art i draw on a wacom one but today im buying a samsung s7 fe to draw on too ps what drawing app do you recommend for android
How do you configure the tip of the pen to be in the same position as the pointer? Because where I put the tip of the pen, the ball that marks you to paint is about 5 cm away and I can't figure out how to configure that, could you please tell me?
Do you have to press hard to draw? My pen is not registering lighter pressure and line is inconsistent. Anyone had this problem? Can suggest some fixes?
Hey i have a stupid question what are the laptop requirements to use a pen tablet in general? Or does it depend on what software youre using? And does the laptop screen quality (+refresh rate) affect how good and smooth is drawing on the pen tablet ? I am new to digital art and i want to buy a drawing tablet (and im upgrading to a new laptop) thats why i'm asking. Btw i love your channel! ❤️
So your laptop requirements aren't that high for a drawing monitor, well, not at all tbh. As long as your laptop have the necessary ports that your drawing monitor requires it'll work fine. However, for your programs and whatnot the drawing monitor simply works off of your laptops specs. So, low RAM will have a bit less support for a large amount of layers and you'll notice quite a bit of lag if the brush size gets bigger and bigger. Processing power is also quite important but that is a laptop/pc thing, monitor itself doesn't have any requirement for anything other than updated and recent operating systems. The refresh rate of your laptop won't translate to the drawing monitor, it's a different monitor all on its own so it has its own refresh rate. Which is why you'll notice a difference between the 2. No matter what you hook up to your pc, the monitor's refresh rate is individual to THAT monitor. So you can, hypothetically, get any drawing monitor for your laptop, as long as you have the correct ports for it. It would just come down to what you're looking for in your drawing monitor. For whatever you're trying to do, I do suggest getting a laptop with a lot of RAM like 16GB minimum. Allows for more programs to run at one time, and for your drawing application to actually have the ability to have a LOT of layers before it starts to lag. It ll also allow for much better and varied brush sizes. Your drawing monitor is only hindered by your laptop, and its own specs. Like color accuracy, parallax, initial activation force etc. I'd suggest researching which drawing monitors have the lowest activation force. Don't be fooled by pen pressure stats, they aren't as important as activation force, which means how hard you have to press before that line is registered by the tablet. Xp-pen has a problem that you have to press quite a bit hard before that line appears, so line variance is redundant, to a degree, if you want an extremely light line. Huion kamvas 22plus has a REALLY low activation force so that you can sketch light. Colors on Huion 22plus is top heavily saturated. But if colors aren't as important then I'd say Kamvas 22Plus is one of the best monitors out there. It's a bit pricey, closer to $1k than anything. But if you find a good deal on Amazon it can reduce the price by quite a bit. And it was such a fantastic experience I had drawing on it.
not verry affordable if you ask me for a cheaper price you could get the xp pen artist 12 11.6" or kambas 12 - kamvas 13 from huion, even wacom one is cheaper
It depends on your currency, and those other options are the smaller sized pen display. In USD currently, this UGEE tablet is a better bang for the buck, its $300 for a 15.6in display compared to the $350 13in Wacom one. The XP pen artist 13.3 is $300 as well for a smaller size, I've used that tablet(and reviewed it) its a lower quality drawing experience. The kamvas 13in is $250 but again its much smaller. It really depends on your need and budget, I think this tablet having a pen with an eraser is top feature but for some it might be a downside since it does not have built in shortcut keys. I do have 15-16 in pen display from most of these major manufacture that I plan on doing a comparison of soon.
that's a nice tablet maybe ill try it cuz i got the kamvas 13 huion and i honestly dont really like it because i always have to recalibrate the pen as its always offset, plus i dont use the buttons XD. and yeah tablets are so expensive out of usa ;-;
@@Carritube Yup I had to downgrade back to Windows 10 because the tablet just wasnt working on windows 11 with my painting softwares ;p but thanks for the review!

After working 7 hours in a 12 inch screen you gonna get headaches for sure , 16 inches is waaaay mor confortable for a full time artist

oh no that sounds like a headache, with pen displays sometimes things like windows update can cause the drivers to act up
