it's absolutely amazing. and Jackson's story is one of the saddest in the music history indeed, a lot of people don't realize that some of his saddest songs are actually written composing the overall tragedy of his life.

Wow, a very nice version of a song that is so sadly overlooked, just like Jackson. It is such a beautiful song and you do it justice. Great job!

Do you know if Jackson's original album version is a half-step down from standard? Chordify seemed to suggest that. I mean half-step down to Dflat etc., with no capo, in standard tuning.
I was just curious. I was playing along with your version and it sounds great, but Jackson's seems a half step down or something. Can't figure it out.

Hey Scott: the beauty of old recordings is that there probably was no tuner available, especially for a recording of guitar and voice. Yep, Jackson's guitar seems tuned lower than standard, maybe it was to accommodate his voice or maybe his guitar strings went flat (if he put in new strings for recording, it is certainly plausible). Try not to rely on Chordify or web sites that show you "the way." For this song, use the "G" fingering and let your ear take it from there. If you play along with Jackson's version, tune your guitar to his, using a capo, and in "G" fingering. Keep at it!

@@CesarPaucarGuitarist I see. I think it's a half-step down plus Capo on whatever fret, if you want to match the album version. I'll give it a shot tomorrow. Thanks, man. Chordify is often wrong, that's the problem. Whereas some of the fan sites like Neil Young etc., have entire guitar archives an they are usually pretty accurate.
