Why not max upgrade your low cost backline while looking for wukong copies?

Bacause he is a goblin that likes to level and taking everything is 2 expensive for him

There's just no point on 3 starring your non-carry units (by that I mean tanks + carries). If you have units that are just there for the trait with no items, having them 3 stars won't win you the game, what will win you the game is having your carries 2-3 stars and leveling. Its not gold efficient to buy everything.
