Thank you for posting this. I covered this in history at school. Just as importantly, I have seen some excellent documentaries about the Boer War on TV in recent times. There were some terrible things done to the Boers and it is a shameful part of our history. I reckon that Britain should be giving a home to Boer descendants if they would like to come here and start a new life. From what I have read, life in South Africa can be pretty rough for the whites who are left. That would be more valuable than any apology.
