As Salamu Alaikum Sister, first I'd like to say Alhamdullillah for this space to share our challenges and struggles. Thank you, for being open and receptive to feedbacks. Each topic has been a challenge that we as reverts have experienced in some form. I think that for holidays all we can do is be an example. Be intentional about the time you spend with family. Perhaps sharing in meals and leaving earlier. Ramadan and Eid are times when we also must be intentional about what we will do. Be intentional about putting yourself out there in the sense of going to invited iftars or even hosting your own. With our extended families lets be open to inviting them to an iftar. Allow them to see the beauty that you live. Find and make friendships in which to hold you accountable and reach out to you. Loneliness is real, but it is also on us to make ourselves a part of a community and establish friendships that will encourage our Deen. May Allah bless each of you and grant you ease. Ameen.
Assalamualaikum sisters...Masha Allah..may Allah bless you both and all Muslim around the world and be as good Muslim and person as we can..and benefit and example to our community ..aamiin..love from Malaysia
Walaikum Assalam dear sisters. We may be far away but don't you think that you are alone. When it comes to our new family we actually feel your discomforts and more - even before you do. Just as we revel in your joys.
Beautiful video sisters. I am Arabic and I love latino culture and people. It makes me happy to see we are having more Muslim brothers and sisters.
