Good stuff great pellet selection i use all three H&N pellets in my gun and get the same results im trying out the HORNETS at the moment for hunting not as accurate for some reason but when they hit right wow
Hello, I am hunting with Gamo TS -18 long range bullets. I use 177 and 22 gauges. I set the initial speed to 345-340 ms. This is higher than the sound, the silencer does not cope, but at a distance of up to 80 meters the result is very stable. The reason is that when the bullet passes in flight, instability begins again at up to sound speed, so I found a distance of up to 80 meters.
Cheers from USA! We can scratch the Crosman pellet off the hunting list... Last I checked, to hunt you got to actually hit the target ha. Thanks for another educational video. - Happy beeman owner.
One experiment I do want to try and do is to Chrono at the muzzle and then at the target to see how much velocity and energy is lost for the various types of pellet and slugs Would be interesting to see how much or less energy is lost with the diablo shaped pellets over a hunting pellet.
I enjoy your videos. To me it was no surprise that the piranha pellets didn't do well. I have have day 3 stat red wolfs and alfa wolf I am lucky, they are high power. fx royal and crown mark 2 and several other fine guns. I can not get those pellets to shoot in a single one. A fan from the U.S.A.
That's good to know. I'll have to see if they like the cold hammer forged barrel of the BSA R10 and original Brocock, which were HW barrels. Have you tried Crosman Destroyer? I ask because they look similar to the H&N Terminator.
30mtrs is what I practice on mostly ( grouping / targets when were down the range , do extend the distance sometimes , but if im shooting out to 55 mtrs I just tend to shoot the spinners / knockdowns ... ive got a tin on hunter extremes , only tried em in one or two rifles ... message too self , take some down range next time .. and terminators .. those Phiranas , dont think they'd be good in ANY barrel or rifle .. at 30 mtrs ... kinda guessed they wouldn't cut the mustard ... however , it would be interesting how they group in other rifles ... interesting test ... liked it a lot ..
They have a rim around the head that make them a tight fit. I think they get damaged, creating about one in five flyers. I've tried them in five fifteenth rifles with the same result.

Not tried the hornets, but have tried the Polymags in .22. They seem to work well, but the price is ridiculous for the amount you get in a tin.

I made a mistake, or rather Gamo TS-10, TS-22😊

30 to 40 yards is about where I'm most comfortable shooting at the moment I'm trying to stretch out further but I suck
I think those Piranaha were sprialing... they dont like you barrel. You can see them arriving on the vid, probably travelling too slow.
