You can get a 0fuse Winchester. It uses DEVGL and can boot unsigned code. I know people who have 0 fuse Winchesters.
But it's very hard to find a 0 fuse Oban CPU. I have DEVGL NANDs for every motherboard including Winchester. You need special files to create a DEVGL NAND.
I'm a console collector and the blue Xbox 360 E is my favorite looking console of all time. Mine is manufactured August 23rd and I visually confirmed it's a Winchester. I appreciate you looking into it. Don't be discouraged that 11 years have gone by. That only means that no one has bothered to try. I hope you find something or a new method comes along. My only other option is to swap the motherboards and make physical modifications on the level of what you see with console minifications.

It's a shame, the shutdown of the Xbox store meant that many Winshester Xboxes are going to waste, it's a shame many people still have these models and they are found very cheaply here in Brazil, if a hack came along I believe many people would do it the hack

As long as the NANDS match then the bad blocks don't matter. I've never had an issue and I've done plenty (of other motherboards not a Winchester). Continue with the RGH3 wiring and flash XELL
Yeah winchesters can’t be rgh3 no matter how much you can read the nands match up you cannot rgh the system they removed pretty much every single method you can possibly even think of.

Will be headfirst back into 360 sometime in 2025 and I'd quite like to get the team on this one to figure. Been longer than the mfg date on that Winchester since I worked on 360 but could be fun. Circled back from X1 to OG to learn that and it has gone extremely well. Could be a bit of fun. I have a black mid-08/2014 thats a potential and a blue 09/2014 thats a sure thing for being a Winchester here, another E is April so should be good. UK rules at this hacking lark

The only hack you can do on this model is profile usb hacks .... the dvd key is in the nand .the nand is locked with a cpu key .. the only way to get the dvd and cpu key is to RGH it .. RGH is not possible as the reset and post have been embedded into the cpu/gpu .. its the same on the xbox one .. hence why that's not been hack too 😉..

Odd. There were some late E's (all the way to the limited blue, Seafoam Green) consoles popping up with late Aug of 2014 manufacturing dates. I was under the assumption that those would surely have winchester's inside.

I was reviewing and comparing between CORONA and Winchester consoles and there are debugging points that have been removed but I found these that may be another type of entry to modify the console
The problem with these points is that there are some that are only below the processor and that perhaps would be another method to modify the console. We have to investigate and try, I hope it can be hacked.
hopefully one day .Ive got every Schematic's for all of them except the winchaster.. Id love to get hold of that too ...

i think we have to look for different method from rgh for this board. there must be some way to hack this xbox model. like ps3 was not modded for some time , if the modders invest some time and effort into finding different method from rgh, its moddable.
i think modding a 360 is already hard enough as is, so not many people wanna try make it 10x harder with a winchester. ps3s are very easy to mod, all you need is a web browser and its just a softmod. lucky them
I want you to succeed in hacking this winchester. Why winchester - because it is most silent and stable motherboard iteration
He can't. This guy isn't a professional. This guy doesn't even has a X-Clamp removal tool. The RST line is filtered. POST_OUT fuses are blown at factory. And PLL ...etc all are disabled. Microcode in the CPU checks the secure state before even the 1BL starts. If the secure fuses are blown, JTAG, Post, etc are disabled. Then the 1BL takes over POR/IPL.
Didn't realise you need a XClamp removal tool to be a professional. I'll put that in my CV now, lol . Maybe I should dug it out and use it. I've never claimed to be a professional, and I never said I could rgh it .. I was asking for new help .. as it's been years since repairing these ... Thank you for your comment, tho
@@8BitRetroReFix Sorry bro if you mind. I apologize. But you should get a X-Clamp removal tool. It's cheap. And I wanted to tell that there is no possiblity RGH will work on Winchester. The CPU is designed in a way that if reset pulse is too long, CPU properly resets instead of GLITCHING and if pulse is short, it doesn't have any effect.
Also we can't get enough slowdown. We can use vCore to glitch instead of using POST_OUT but there i2c doesn't offer enough slowdown.
So let's get straight to the point.
Even if a exploit was released in future, it would not be RGH.
@@basimahmed-be6gj who is asking only rgh to work. there can be many other ways to exploit this versioin of xbox. PS3 slim and super slim were non exploitable (this was the thinking) until HEN came
Yeah, no worries, mate ... I'd never seen a winchester before and have been out of the loop for 10 years. I have TX XClamp tool it's just berried in box there it's been for 10 years, lol ... I'll dig it out, seeing I've started doing 360s again .. cheers for the info, tho

Hi . After Aug 2014 they fitted WInchester boards ... Only way to be 100% is open it and check it.. but 99% sure it will be a winchester .. Thanks
Dude ! Mine says 2014 - 09 -01 can it be modded ?? I went to mod also it has red ring light of death for some obvious reasons, they say it cannot be modded 😭😭everywhere I go , also my controller have been rusted. Is it worth it if I just try to restore it??
@kathiravan3984 always worth restoring .. ;) ... yours is right on the change date .. The only way to tell is to open it up and remove the hest sink ... fingers cross it's not winchester...

Hopefully will some day get an the track to remove the unhackable title from this kind of console. nothing is unhackable bit these console came so late to the market, nobody was really interested anymore in the platform. Time will tell. Maybe a billionaire will put a high amount to win on a wanted sign and ask to hack the console one day🙂.

mines 2014-10😭😭😔 my heart broke when i checked the date
its only a few months out .. The only way to tell is to open it up to be 100%

@arnavbhalla5 it could well be a winchester it's right on the time board Aug 2014 on ... if you look through the vent on the side under the dvd drive you'll see the heatsink. If there is a capasitor to the far right, then it's a winchester.. if you can see the heatsink to the right of the capasitor, then it's corona or trinity ..I hope that helps .. or you'll have to strip it and remove the heatsink to see ...
