Always this time of year to watch these kinds of videos with recommendations! Right now I'm looking for all kinds of references on wallets and accessories
I like the idea of green being the color of this season. Green is the most neutral color and with all the chaos and division we've seen lately, it feels well deserved
Some really good ideas in this video. I think I'm gonna try out some of these suggestions instead of my usual all black turtleneck jumper with jeans and a long coat, or my red flannel long sleeve over a white t-shirt with dark blue denim jeans
What's great about that aesthetic is that it's easy to get new vintage clothes. You basically ask your grand-pa, dad, uncle, older cousin... for clothes that they can't fit into anymore and you complete your outfits by going to a second hand garment shop. You find some fair trade basics and you get a more ecological closet and family. Learning to match eclectic shades and fabric textures, to integrate patterns, and to know their meaning can be a good reminder for an history exam. I especially like ethnic clothing. Supporting brands with cultural meaning for our people might be very important. Sometimes, you can also support a seamstress from your family or neighborhood. Having some patches and radical prints might help to express your ideas and to network with future friends. We are always happy to get a new branded item and tend to wear them with confidence, but it sometimes get overworn. Having a cohesive look and learning to dress up and down for various events, life events and moments can even be character building.
Hey just found your channel. Like how you switch from Mets hats to Yankees. Keep it balanced. haha. On the streets of NYC it's been too warm to see much fall at all, but I did see a couple of really skinny girls wearing flat single pleated front wispy stovepipe pants. Nowadays with even big fashion houses abilities to quickly manufacture things, due to fickle demands of consumers...there is so much variety. I keep waiting to see a Missoni sweater, but it's too hot and even when it's cold, you never see these masterpieces. Makes sense the shoe shape of the Samba is the same as the old soccer boots from the 90's. That's another thing, you see collaborations or re-interpretations...like film cameras when you see one, it's not from a major company other than Pentax, it's some small company altering previous models.
Vintage is your best bet for fitted high waisted pants. The 70s era pants were rather slim with high waist but usually flared. And there’s categories of pants that are always somewhat fitted, like vintage jeans
I get that. sometimes we all have a time where we need to dress up, or we want to just try something different. im still a sneaker guy so those videos wont stop lol
@@BryceKicks Some of the individual pieces are nice, but the overall structure of a lot of the fits people are wearing looks off to me. So much stuff is way oversized and just looks odd. Loafers? Wonderful. Chunky loafers? Hideous. Chunky loafers with tall white socks and shorts? Physically painful to look at. Admittedly, my style is very subdued and probably a bit boring to some degree.
"Hey babe, new NPC outfits just dropped" 😂 Reminds be of the same transition from late 2000s to early 2012 where everyone was dressing mega basic and wearing the same shit ppl got on in your video. I think if you want to look like everyone else on the street you can switch up but it just shows you who has a sense of unique style and who just follows trends bc its hot rn.
Brother, wear a suit because you don't know how to dress. If the police saw you in our country, they would think you were a drug dealer and would put you in jail and never show you the sky again.

Samee man I love that aesthetic, in fact I always try to reflect it in my outfits
And honestly, someday I hope to achieve that style.

Where tf can i get the more timeless fitted high waisted trousers that aint wide? Uniglo wide doesnt work for my skinny ass frame

i would check Banana Republic. theyre having a sale right now, and i know they have a lot of straight or slim fit trousers
@@BryceKicks thanks for the responses guys, think the straight fit at Banana could be a winner for me
@@justajazzfan7838 Do you find vintage at local shops or do you recommend online?
Whered you get your coat piece from?
kith
I would to wear my doc marten loafers and Doc marten Derbys they just hurt my feet so bad that I always pass up wearing them.
its funny you mention that, ive never had a comfort issue with my adrian loafers.
I love this channel but have nowhere to dress like this to.
sometimes i just have to go to the grocery store and ill still put that sh*t on haha
Where the hat from?
amzn.to/3TAW3Ua
CARDIGANS. start buying them up gang. all of this stuff seems loosely based on outfits kurt cobain and other rockstars wore in the 90s
you forgot cargo pants
more of a staple than a trend
This looks like bad 90s styles. Brings back my youth
Majority of the trends mentioned are taken from…….the streets no surprise but
What sweater is that at 3:06
got it from Stussy last year
They say these items every year 😂
🤷🏻♂️
I m seeing a lot maroon
yes i agree
Love your vids bro but i hate loafers they ain’t comfortable at all im just a sneaker guy 😂
Girls are eww me when I dress up
I get that. sometimes we all have a time where we need to dress up, or we want to just try something different. im still a sneaker guy so those videos wont stop lol
Insoles are a thing brother.
What brand is that?
Yeah it 2024 not 1920 we ain’t wearing these terrible shoes anymore time to move on.
This isn't really "eclectic grandpa"- its more "formal streetwear"
Maybe grandpas used to be more formal...
Ayoooo. Chill with the Sebago keep it low
my bad my bad lol
skull caps been a thing since forever, it's not a new trend
I'm officially old. These styles are so weird to me.
the first half of the video features classic tailored clothing (knits, trousers, loafers), thats weird to you?

Man, this grandpa aesthetic has been my uniform for ages, I mean since 2010’s and now people thinking I’m just going by the trend.
you're ahead of the game
I was also in chock entering a room full of me.
Really? Whats gonna be big this fall? Sweaters, jackets, boots... the insight is crazy. Come on man.
Sooo…clothes that don’t fit. Got it.
Find your own style . Done be a clone . Xoxoxoxo
Follow trends and you’ll always be chasing the next thing. Stick with classics
Just stick to classic looks
I’m from Miami. We ain’t dressin like that in this weather.
