Obviously I see where her family is coming from even though he didn't spike her drink, they fear he possibly could hurt her & they don't want to allow that to happen. But I'm sorry every being deserves a 2nd chance & besides as others will probably say Jacob was a pawn of Harvey, groomed like Simon to go through these horrible acts, yes he had a choice but he also had pressure, So I feel that break up isn't what Amy wanted but what she seemed forced to do by Leanne & Steve, which is understandable but bitterly sad on Jacob's part for the loss of his relationship that's sad to, but what hurts more is that only Amy was willing to give him a 2nd chance.
I know and I’m glad to see that he’s starting to get back to his old self like talking again yes I know he would probably never be fully back to normal but it’s great to see his character talking again

I think leanne and simon are the biggest hypocrites here, yeah simons a kid who got dragged into that gang but jacob is pretty much the same age so did it ever cross their minds that maybe the same thing happened to him ? and yeah simon is a ‘good kid’ (even though he used to hit Leanne) but jacob is also trying to be good so can’t they just let him try
