Yeah, at last, a new video! We all were missing your excellent reviews!!! This RB-GX is probably the best robot toy ever made. A great tribute to the vintage one.
Thanks so much! I don't know if it's the best (just because there's so many amazing choices), but maybe the most ambitious? Certainly one of the most enjoyable.
Thanks so much for your support! This has been a pretty big effort as I forgot most of how I shot everything, so made a lot of mistakes. Still not entirely happy with many of the shots. Also the complexity of RBGX has further contributed to it being a mammoth effort but I'm relieved to have the first of the four videos out. Hopefully folks enjoy them. Cheers!
@robotoyworld I think this is one moment where I can speak for others in saying that we will enjoy your content no matter how perfect or imperfect it may be simply because it's your content.
I had to do a double take when I saw that there was a new video. I've been rewatching (for the millionth time, lmao) your older videos quite a bit lately due to the amount of emphasis on the new Robot Base and accessories. I am so happy to see you return and the plans for future content! I'm here for the ride! Absolutely made my weekend! Thank you!
Nice to have you back I just picked up the DA-95 a few months ago. I can’t find the DA-100 at all and I live in Japan. Online is charging twice as much.
@@robotoyworld I shared it to one of the Diaclone reboot groups on FB and have to say that you are the highest quality English language Diaclone content here
Great to see you've continued to create more high qual content like this one. There's very little English language coverage on Diaclone anywhere. Too expensive for my current budget but watching your vid is enough. Cheers!
Thanks for the support. Yeah I feel like it will only increase in price over time too, unless they change their strategy and rerelease everything. Hopefully you get a good idea of all the stuff it does and get to appreciate it that way :)
@@robotoyworld you’re welcome! Watching these makes me appreciate RB-GX all over again. I think I might have to get mine off the shelf and play with it tonight! 😄
Wait, it's called GROUND Dion? Dang, the whole time I've had it I thought it was "Grand" Dion, because that's how BBTS and Amiami listed it, so I checked the friggin' box and it says right there, "Ground Dion." Unbelievable. Thanks, your video's already taught me something new about this guy.
Hey! I think I was one of those who commented that you should keep making videos!! Glad to see you’re back. And don’t worry about churning out content - just make a video when you feel like it. Your subscribers will be here to enjoy and appreciate.
Cheers and thanks for watching! Yeah my interests are a bit more diverse but Diaclone doesn’t get as much love on YT so I guess I’ve felt obligated to play my part. I’m gonna take a break and show some cool non-Diaclone in the next few videos 🙂
Glad youre back! Youre original robot base review was one of the videos which convinc d me to finally get into Diaclone and buy this and cloud across, so thank you!!! So wxcited to see the new content!
I actually checked your channel just a couple months ago to see if you had ever gotten around to this, and figured you had just given up on youtube. Glad to see you finally tackling this Titan. I already have all the parts, but I'm still going to watch all the vids you put out on it.
Greetings friend, I really appreciate your videos, I am a subscriber who congratulates you, for giving us the opportunity to enjoy this series of DIACLONE collectibles, not even the GI - JOE have as much to play or a line as impressive as this one. DIACLONE is and will be a line of toys that I hope to one day have for Christmas, even if I am an older man I always dream of having it and enjoying it, what a good toy, GRACIAS AMIGO QUE AFORTUNADO !
Welcome back, I was watching your videos for research on the diaclone line I ended up getting da-95 and 100 both are wonderful toys but I like da-95 a bit more it's also the most I've spent on a titan sized transforming toy.
Great video! Your review of the vintage robot base was also cool and really informative. I hope to see a comparison between the vintage and the modern when you have them both built up. Looking forward to the next few reviews.
Thanks - yes I plan to show them side by side and a few of the detail areas where the designers have paid homage to the original Robot Base. Appreciate your support!
Thanks for watching! With a few sets you still get to enjoy that inventive building aspect of Diaclone, which can often be more fun than just playing on a bigger set. You mentioned aircraft - which models do you have? I have the Horus Versaulter still sitting unopened in a box as I've been too busy with these videos to get it out 😑 It looks like it could be one of the highlights of the range or at least of the more recent Diaclone range.
Thanks for watching. Did you buy it aftermarket? Was it sealed? I am surprised if it's the steel sheet stickers missing as that's a shame if they're not fitted.
Man, I didn't know you returned. Ma man. Also, will you be reviewing Machine Robo Battlehackers in the future? Some of the mech toys are one of the most underrated. R-Jettan and his team being some of the most creative robots out there.
Wait are these like masterpiece GoBots??? I still have a few GoBots from my childhood... they haven't stood the test of time as well as the TFs though.
@@robotoyworld There are masterpiece Gobots but they are called Action Toys Machine Robo and Machine Build Machine Robo by Megahouse. Machine Robo Battlehackers is like what if-TF Victory toys weren't talked about a lot. There's a bunch of toys in Revenge of Cronos too like Baikanfu and Devil Satan 6 but I feel Battlehackers needs to be talked more since R-Jetan and his team are quite revolutionary for 80's toys standards. You can see it here: th-cam.com/video/leR_E5N_Etg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=jaA7wNceFk2PETs6&t=330 I might have to upload majority of the HQ Battlehackers commercials later on.
@@robotoyworld Gobots' Japanese original side wasn't talked a lot but hey, some of these like Baikanfu and R-Jetan, Drill Crusher and Mach Blaster among others never were released outside of Japan. You might wanna check them out sometime. They weren't the regular size of a Gobot as they were a lot more huge and rank up with hard-hitters like God Ginrai or Predaking or even Star Saber to make a comparison.
This is amazing. Your video is fucking ace. You've made a new Diaclone collector this day. As a long time TF collector, just wondering how the complete giant robo measures up to Titan class Cybertronians?
Thanks man, that's a great compliment! I have the Titan class Scorponok and Black Zarak, and you can see him next to the Scorponok (as well as some other larger figures) in my Robot Base video. He's roughly the same height but my Skorp has the DNK Designs upgrade so I guess Robot Base would have the edge on the standard Scorp. That's purely height though - when you ask how he "measures up" the quality is quite different... the Titan class figures feel like cardboard cutouts next to Robot Base. He's significantly more solid.
Is the elevator battery operated or clockwork? It sounds clockwork, but it'd be unusual for a modern toy! I found your channel from your Gundam toy review, but I've fallen in love with your Diaclone videos - but I can't wait to see what you have in store!
While things you say start at an intelligible volume, they always devolve into a whisper or mumble. I had to use CCs to even get an idea what you were saying.
Thanks for watching and I genuinely appreciate the feedback. I struggle in front of the camera but will definitely keep this in mind for the next time. I have heard people say that your enthusiasm needs to be significantly higher to have it come across on camera and it seems true. Thanks again and hopefully you can switch off the captions down the track 🙂
