Montu is a great inverted coaster! Rode it back in 2013 when I came to Florida on holiday with family from England, we went in April to avoid the summer crowds, and there were NO queues for anything really. Got to ride it half a dozen times over and over again in the front row! 😂
@@BionicPoodle it’s a hybrid between both, and if you’ve ever rode a roller coaster before there is a distinct difference between full metal coasters and wooden rollercoasters. It’s much more fun.

Fun fact. There was actually a live gator pit, as you just pass the lowering gate! I remember them being pretty solid 3 to 4 ft gators 🤯 as if it already wasn’t scary enough to go on this coaster at 12 yrs old lol

There was a silly rumor for many years that they were removed because a gator “jumped up and bit a rider” 🤣🤣 but the real reason is that they were too hard to maintain in that location due to the ride being in constant operation throughout the day.

I’ve ridden Montu and it’s not too bad. It’s a good ride and there are times where you just want to kick back on the coasters and have some fun. Montu is great for that. Just good smooth and slightly sharp turns and cobra rolls and corkscrews. Yay!! 😁🎢🎢🎢🎢

Coasters like this r my favorite ones ,love having my legs dangle when riding any wild ride .The swings will always be my favorite rude ,not will but so relaxing and fun with my legs dangling , especially at night ,I have always went at night to ride everything except the waterslides ,We like thise during the day .
For anyone who doesn’t know why it’s so loud, there is no sand in the supports so it echoes. The ride does not break, that is common for all rides to either have that

Pre-2000s B&M inverts are truly one of a kind. Over 20 years later and they’re still some of the best rides on the planet
Indeed. The Raptor at Cedar Point turned 30 years old this year and it's still amazing

My favorite ride (B&M The Batman clone rollercoaster). But X2 and Enjanaika are the most intense rollercoasters you can ride today.
Doesnt look much more intense than Raptor at cedar point. Definitely would love to ride this regardless.
