A vastly under appreciated movie. Hopper makes this film. Critics said Glover overplayed his part. I disagree. I think the director nailed the kind of drama that high school age kids would display when faced with the murder of a friend by another friend. Also, the background music is incredible.
A funny scene here where Feck is dancing with Ellie, his sex doll who he thinks is alive,,lol. The late Dennis Hopper is superb as Feck in this classic 1986 film "River's Edge". I will always miss Dennis Hopper, a very awesome actor. R.I.P.
i know this may seem like a stupid comment, but why would a man keep the same weapon he used to kill his own wife? i know in the scene by the river where john and feck converse about how john strangled his girlfriend Jamie and feck said ITS GOT SOME SENTIMENTAL VALUE sentimental or not, i wouldn't keep something that can end up being what'll soon be evidence against me which can lead to my conviction for murder or manslaughter
