Okay, first off, I really LOVE how giggly and how happy they were in this interview. Honestly I've never been more in love with Ashton than watching him here. Like of course he's hilarious and beautiful and my sunshine. But the fact that he has these educated, forward thinking opinions warms my heart. He's really realizing how he wants to use the platform he's been given to affect change in others and that is inspiring.

ashton speech at 8:00 ish i cried. people say they are just some dumb "boyband" but there music actually comes from somewhere unlike all this dumb rap that talks about girl butts and drugs. they are such amazing people and they really are heroes; they save lives. i cannot begin to say how much i appreciate this band and their music. in my english class we had to write about someone or something that has had a huge impact on our life. everyone wrote about their parents or best friend but i wrote about 5sos. they have transformed me into the person i want to be and i am proud to be. we had to have two friends check it and two non-5sos fans checked mine and said it was a great essay. not only do they save lives they get me good grades😂 but seriously i have a huge love for luke michael calum and ashton. i love them so much

When they started talking about the serious topics, I was so thankful. It gets really annoying when interviewers avoid the topics that need to be talked about other than girls and drama. This band saved my life and I'm glad that they're happy.
I remembered Ashton drawing a butterfly on a fan's wrist.. I draw my own now. he and the boys have saved me. they helped me stay away from self harm. their music helps me to not think about it so much and what he did for that fan just made me know how much they care about us and other people. their music is a huge message for us and showing who they are. The New Broken Scene is just this place that we all are basically just coming together and helping each other up and telling each other that we are okay to be this way. we aren't alone. I love these boys. I've been in the fam for about 3 years and I remember hearing Heartbreak Girl (the first song I heard by them). they have grown in so many ways and I just love them so much. I'm glad I got to see them live and 2 TIMES!! I wish to meet them one day, I want them to know all of what they did for me
I appreciate them so much for including the darker themes into their new album. It's sort of like a crutch for me. When no one else understands my feelings, I know that they do. Them talking from 5:30-7:00 minutes makes me feel understood and relieved. You guys have been successful in making my life better with your music, so thank you for that!

With sex, drugs ect. People have the fucking nerve to say 5sos don't care about their fans but his video clearly proves them wrong. I love this interview for so many reason. 5:20-8:37 is by far my favorite part of any interview i've ever watched by 5sos. If anyone ever says 5sos aren't good inspirations please show them this. They know their own struggles, they know fans struggles, and they know these problems are neglected. They realize that people aren't talking about the added stresses that comes from this technological age. In a modest way they state that they now have power, and it's clear they want to use this to make sure people are okay. And to make sure that fans know its okay to not be okay. They're sharing personal experiences to make people feel understood and not alone. To give people an outlet when they're having a rough day. This is my favorite part because it's real, it raw, and it's honest. I can't wait to hear their stories october 23rd, I promise you, Sounds Good Feels Good is going to be a good one. This interview was done during #MentalAs week in Australia. The week is dedicated to discussing the mental health of our population, especially for our youth and seniors. We have a high youth and elderly suicide rate in Australia. Good on these lads for talking publicly about their battles with depression. Angela Bishop is the most professional entertainment reporter in Australia, she rarely asks "stupid irrelevant" questions.
I love these kinds of interviews where they talk about their lives, music, things that needed to be discussed about like mental health issues, anxiety & depression which are FAR MORE important that knowing who's dating who or who's their crush, etc. This interview is my favorite one to date because it's so real and so raw. People hating on 5sos and degrading them should watch this to really know what kind of band and people they are. They're more than just good looks and talent. Far more than that. They're people like us who actually have the same problems as we do and they're making a good thing out of it by putting them into their songs. I'm so happy this interview exists.

Honestly I've never been more in love with Ashton than watching him here. Like of course he's hilarious and beautiful and my sunshine. But the fact that he has these educated, forward thinking opinions warms my heart. He's really realizing how he wants to use the platform he's been given to affect change in others and that is inspiring.

this is one of my favourite interviews. no talk about girls, celebrity crushes, any of that. its about the music, about real issues and you can see the passion in them. it warms my heart that they truly want to talk about anxiety, depression, self harm and serious topics like that. i love that in this video they aren't faced with awkward questions that have nothing to do with what got them where they are now; the music.
This is a great interview because they really expressed everyone's feelings, and I think they felt really comfortable with the interviewer, and that's great. She didn't ask like dumb questions like "who's you celebrity crush?" OK BUT MICHAEL AT 5:00 KITTEN

ashton speech at 8:00 ish i cried. people say they are just some dumb "boyband" but there music actually comes from somewhere unlike all this dumb rap that talks about girl butts and drugs. they are such amazing people and they really are heroes; they save lives. i cannot begin to say how much i appreciate this band and their music. in my english class we had to write about someone or something that has had a huge impact on our life. everyone wrote about their parents or best friend but i wrote about 5sos. they have transformed me into the person i want to be and i am proud to be. we had to have two friends check it and two non-5sos fans checked mine and said it was a great essay. not only do they save lives they get me good grades😂 but seriously i have a huge love for luke michael calum and ashton. i love them so much

I remembered Ashton drawing a butterfly on a fan's wrist.. I draw my own now. he and the boys have saved me. they helped me stay away from self harm. their music helps me to not think about it so much and what he did for that fan just made me know how much they care about us and other people. their music is a huge message for us and showing who they are. The New Broken Scene is just this place that we all are basically just coming together and helping each other up and telling each other that we are okay to be this way. we aren't alone. I love these boys. I've been in the fam for about 3 years and I remember hearing Heartbreak Girl (the first song I heard by them). they have grown in so many ways and I just love them so much. I'm glad I got to see them live and 2 TIMES!! I wish to meet them one day, I want them to know all of what they did for me
I appreciate them so much for including the darker themes into their new album. It's sort of like a crutch for me. When no one else understands my feelings, I know that they do. Them talking from 5:30-7:00 minutes makes me feel understood and relieved. You guys have been successful in making my life better with your music, so thank you for that!

Honestly this is my favorite interview of 5sos. This truly shows who they are as people and as a band. They are silly and goofing off one minute then the next they get deep and personal. They talk about real issues in life that so many of us are going through. They talk about stuff that actually matters and that needs to be spoken off, unlike all the shit you hear on radios now. With sex, drugs ect. People have the fucking nerve to say 5sos don't care about their fans but his video clearly proves them wrong. I love this interview for so many reason. For once an interviewer asks the right questions. They are happy and smiling and having fun. This is why I love Australian interviews. Man what would I give just to have a conversation with them. They are such deep people and this interview proves is. I picked the right band.
5:20-8:37 is by far my favorite part of any interview i've ever watched by 5sos. If anyone ever says 5sos aren't good inspirations please show them this. They know their own struggles, they know fans struggles, and they know these problems are neglected. They realize that people aren't talking about the added stresses that comes from this technological age. In a modest way they state that they now have power, and it's clear they want to use this to make sure people are okay. And to make sure that fans know its okay to not be okay. They're sharing personal experiences to make people feel understood and not alone. To give people an outlet when they're having a rough day. This is my favorite part because it's real, it raw, and it's honest. I can't wait to hear their stories october 23rd, I promise you, Sounds Good Feels Good is going to be a good one. This is honestly one of my favourite interviews, because it was serious, yet had some parts of them being themselves, and it just showed me just how much they actually care about us. They took their time creating The New Broken Scene, for us to be a part of, and when Ashton was explaining it, I truly did feel the care they had towards us (their fans) I am extremely proud of how far they have come. I honestly cannot wait until Oct.23rd.

This interview was done during #MentalAs week in Australia. The week is dedicated to discussing the mental health of our population, especially for our youth and seniors. We have a high youth and elderly suicide rate in Australia. Good on these lads for talking publicly about their battles with depression. Angela Bishop is the most professional entertainment reporter in Australia, she rarely asks "stupid irrelevant" questions.

I love these kinds of interviews where they talk about their lives, music, things that needed to be discussed about like mental health issues, anxiety & depression which are FAR MORE important that knowing who's dating who or who's their crush, etc. This interview is my favorite one to date because it's so real and so raw. People hating on 5sos and degrading them should watch this to really know what kind of band and people they are. They're more than just good looks and talent. Far more than that. They're people like us who actually have the same problems as we do and they're making a good thing out of it by putting them into their songs. I'm so happy this interview exists.
the part when Ash talked about the self harm thing I was so touched and the things michael said, I just can't describe how much this meant to me, especially because they were very emotional.
But yeah, apart from that I smiled the whole time, they were so happy and lauged and made fun all the time so yeah I really really liked that interview

i can't describe how much i love this band. The fact that they care so much about their fans. It makes me feel like i have a personal relationship with all of them. I've gotta say.... This was the BEST 5SOS interview I have ever watched..... I mean... The questions were based on important things and not on like "Are you guys single?" "What colour are you gonna dye your hair next?" and stuff like that.... There was a balance in the type of questions.... Some funny and interesting, others a bit more deep... But seriously though.... Just to watch them talk about their feelings, how they have been through things teenagers like us go through now and such just makes me really proud of how far they've come.... Also.... You get a lot of insight on the upcoming album.... AND..... You can also still see that "we-are-just-some-4-care-free-idiots-who-love-music-and-our-fans" part of them in this..... So humble....
