Oh my, it all looked wonderful, and the pies ,! I’d be taking one home. Boy, it looked very crowded.. I’ve seen other reviews on the old mill restaurant, and everyone is very impressed. I don’t know the history of the old mill. I guess it was originally a mill that ground up your corn to make cornmeal but I don’t know when it was built. Great video though just gorgeous place. Thanks for taking us and I enjoyed it immensely..

I'm glad you liked the old mill, because it's our favorite place to eat when we're in the mountains. I always get the country fried steak, but the turkey is delicious. In fact, we ate Thanksgiving dinner there one year and it did not disappoint! I like that you don't act all snooty and find fault with the food. We'll be there in about four weeks and I'd love to see you guys and say hello.

Not for low carb people, I looked online. The time I take everything off I can't eat won't be a lot of food and pricey to boot---it's better if I just cook in the RV! lol
I've set by a window before overlooking the river when we last went back in early 21, got the exact same thing your wife got. The whole area down there just has a different sense to it, different feel. It's like a going home type feel, it's very serene. Need to head back there sometime real soon, Go to Dollywood too.

It is such a great restaurant. Try the Double Crusted Blackberry Cobbler with homemade ice cream. It's one of my favorite desserts & the recipe is on their website! Nice video!

We have been there several times and really enjoyed it. A side note for you: one of my ancestors owned the property that the Old Mill and general store is located. Sure wish they would have kept it in the family 😅. Oh yeah, my wife sure liked Karen's blouse.
The Old Mill Restaurant could be a textbook case study on how to do a restaurant the right way. Always consistent, efficient and high quality meals. The Old Mill District is exactly why we choose to pay a little extra and stay at KOA when we come. Have a great week guys.
The mill itself gives a homey feeling and the food was plentiful. Both dinners looked good especially the moist turkey and stuffing. I bet Big T will get to sample the turkey, Karen, the top you were wearing was so gorgeous and colorful. ❤&🙏🏼&✌️
Had the turkey & dressing a few weeks ago with sweet potato casserole and okra (instead of green beans and mashed potatoes). That, the fritters and chowder was an all time great meal. The salad is okay but really unnecessary lol. Finished with the pecan pie. Absolutely phenomenal. 10/10

Any chance you two could visit some pottery shops owned by artists that turn out real American pottery. I did a lot of pottery decades ago and still love seeing handmade clay objects. Pottery is beautiful, show us some great pots.
