Yep, the Dutch RTL4 was on there as well, but when they turned on Luxcrypt because they didn’t want to pay for European distribution to their producers anymore ASTRA went almost 100% German. Eutelsat 13E/Hotbird had a lot more channels in different languages on it.
Sky Uk had some channels FTA on Astra 19,2°E satelite in the early 90s. I remember watching Sky1, Sky Movies and Movie Channel. Didn't last long since by late 93/early94 most of them became encrypted.

When you look back at it once Sky had encrypted every channel, it was really just a German network of channels all of which were free to air.
Sky was not an available network in Germany I think. We had astra analogue 4:3 then 16:3. UK and Ireland used to have sky
