Thanks for stopping by! This is a super old video (I've come a long way) and we are now full time in our Grand Design Imagine XLS 17MKE and have traveled through over 35 states! For something newer, check out: th-cam.com/video/SERJKUxkfNA/w-d-xo.html

We always enjoyed our time here! We are in a park that reminds me of Morro Bay State Park - the trees and layout, but we are in Tennessee!

Nice park. We've had a 2017 Rpod model 180 for a little over a month and sure have enjoyed it. We are going to take it on a week long trip in March to Arkansas. Thanks for the video.

Nice Rpod model! You will love it - are you in the facebook group RPod Owners? Really nice group - super supportive of each other and great modification ideas. Would love to hear about Arkansas - never been there, but someday!

I know you like non-hookup sites, but do you have any sort of inverter generator for any power? I'm looking at a basic Aliner with only electric hookups but was looking at some small power source so I could stay in the primitive spots. Oh, and my campground favorite is Bennett Spring State Park in Missouri. I practically grew up in that park, trout fishing with my dad.

We have solar panels! We have a solar charge controller in line with them, that is hard-wired inside - it is big enough to handle the two 200 watt panels on the roof and also the two 200 watt portable panels we set out in the sun if the trailer is shaded (we have 400 watts total). Because we have the 400 watts, we purchased a Blue Sky Energy Solar Boost 3.000i MPPT Charge Controller - gives us much more input in to our batteries. The portable panels are good as we can move them around, but the ones on the roof are also good, because they charge most of the time just on their own. We are amazed at how much we get on a hazy or somewhat cloudy day! We do have a small inverter so we can use our coffee grinder (then we use a French press so don't need a power source). We installed several cigarette lighter plugs so charge our phone and ipads that way. We do have a small generator in the back of the truck - we have used it once when it was over 100 degrees and the black dog was melting... I will do a video soon on our power set up!
I would think you could mount a couple of panels on one side of the Aliner top - now that I think of it, I know we saw one with panels on it... you would need a charge controller. The Aliner is cool because you can take it ANYWHERE!
I will look up Bennett Spring State Park - we would love to see that section of the country!

Thanks for the info. I'll be on the lookout for your power video. Missouri's campgrounds are beautiful, I think, but I don't see a lot of vloggers visiting them, although Drivin and Vibin named the Lake of the Ozarks campground, near where I grew up, as their favorite.

THIS IS A WARNING ESPECIALLY TO PHOTOGRAPHERS!!!!
Never go to Morro Bay!!!! If they see you with a camera they will arrest you and get Scott Crabtree and other guys in 3 cars to hunt you down to beat you and maybe kill you. It’s a town full of horrible people that like to violate your rights. Just look at their Facebook and Google ratings. Also look at their Police Departments Facebook for proof. Also see Nasty Nathaniels and Johnny 5-0 TH-cam videos about this horrible town. No street lighting at night and it’s a dangerous place. My friends were followed for hours, stalked, their car surrounded and pounded on. They hate visitors in this town and if you bring a camera you will be arrested.
