@@alisaglam2465I didn't watch the original video saying this was the rarest move but we have to talk about what we mean by "rare". Low rated players don't resign because their opponents are low rated and might mess up. I'm rated around 750 right now (I'm trying) and there are games when I've blundered my queen and still won. Even if I'm down to only my king, I wait it out and make them seal the deal because they can either run out of time or stalemate me.

I don’t think this move is hard at all, his “probabilities” are calculated by (position occured) / (games EVER played) which is not accurate at all. Also, when you’re actively trying to get that position unlike calculating those randomly played games, it’s really easy to promote to 3 bishops in a game if you think about it, like if your opponent doesn’t resign and you have like 4-5 pawns, you’re getting it! In addition, when you’re getting higher in ELO people often don’t resign in blitz games and have more common sense to play chess, which helps you a lot to complete this position. I would say this would take maybe 30 minutes at minimum and a few hours if you’re unlucky. 1 in 50-100 chance? Not 300 billion or whatever his number was. Just wanted to point that out, this isn’t a hate comment, I hope your channel goes well and you continue achieving extraordinary goals and make astonishing videos amidst this dark chess world. Gl!
The thing is, the data is from lichess and lichess has less games and the reason why he used lichess was because it was not hidden so it is possible someone could have gotten the checkmate before you. Even so, good job!
What about, the double disambiguated knight capture double check? :) (not sure if it is possible to do that with a bishop.. but i found 4N3/7k/8/8/4N1N1/8/2Q5/4K3 w - - 0 1 as a possible setup for that)
he did it (kinda) he hadn't fully boxed the king in yet, he would have had to move his rook from g6 to g7 then white move his king to c4 he moves rook b3 to c3 and white moves king back to d5 and then he would checkmate pope g8 to e6. tho of course when he checkmated he covered the c4 square with the pope (covering all 9 squares but there were only 7 covered before the check, so is this still the same checkmate?).
The thing is... Now that there's at least 2 documented cases of this move happening it it no longer the rarest move in chess
time for Hikaru and croissant to work their way up until all rare checkmates are no longer rare but just a way to flex on someone
people being able to do it doesnt really make it any less rare tho (maybe statistically if we talk about a more common one that has less people that did it).

En-passant royal fork with a pawn checkmate
Do like this:
U will need setup like this
For example,
*black king on f7* and
*black queen on d7*
*black pawn on e7*
for white
*white rook on g file or g1*
*2nd rook on a file 8th rank or just a1*
*white pawn on f5*
*queen behind that pawn on e3* or on E file
*2 dark squared bishop* on
*c3 and b4* and
*knight on g7*
Even though queen can move we still want *pawn to move to e5* *then our pawn on f5 capture the pawn leading to a royal fork* queen can't do anything except taking the pawn by *Qxe6* then our *queen on e3* *capture* the queen by *Qxe6#* that's how it is done even though this is not proper checkmate but this is the only way
