There has been and there will always be flooding in Trinidad because there is no plan whatsoever on what to do in low lying areas. The people who do the planning basically wait for dry season when the problem is solved until the next rainy season.
I see that the next 50 years for trinis will be very difficult.Incompetent government squandered and stole the oil wealth, because the people chose to vote race instead of competence.Trinidad is a small island with almost no other natural resources except oil which has become depleted. Now there is alot of unemployment,crime and climate change is making it difficult.Trinidad is a cautionary tale, an example of what not to be.
