    Thanks for taking us along on your journey! Maybe consider putting car camping on Madeline Island in Lake Superior on your list. It's rarely more than 80s, there are two campgrounds on the island and the scenery is amazing! It never feels crowded and is truly one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Stay safe and keep the great videos coming!!!!

      @@brenda4388 Their electric hook-up sites are about $40 a night. The town's campsite has wifi at the main building. The have great restrooms and showers. It costs about $65 round-trip for two and a vehicle on the ferry from Bayfield. If you have never been and love the outdoors, I would add this Island to your list! Hope that helps.

    I have the same tailgate awning as yours. The cover itself comes with 6 magnets to seal the gaps, and I find it very effective in keeping my sleeping area cooler and bug-free. I've had it for a year, and it still works excellently. Just keep in mind that you'll need to prepare poles to extend the awning for sitting underneath it.Oh,yeah,there is instruction,it is sewed on the carry bag.BTW, great video.

    I agree. 80 degrees in a car can actually get up to 100 degrees or more if there’s no shade. Unless, if you choose to be outside and deal with all the creepy crawlies 😳😳 Add humidity then that’s a def hot mess!

    Hello. Watching your video I see that you have a problem with an emergency break. I would suggest that you get something to chock the wheels. One of the things my father always taught me was that you should have a set of chocks, whether it’s purchased chocks or brick/rocks (cheapest option and there seem to be a lot out there). Place one behind and in front of each wheel to prevent wheel movement once parked. Just remember to remove them before you drive away. And you will feel much more secure. Nice view.

      My only gripe with camping in high temperatures is sleeping. I can't sleep unless the temperature is below 68 degrees Fahrenheit. Most nights the temperature will drop below that, even in high heat desert areas, but not always. I've had a few miserable, sleepless nights camping.

    Yeah! You got a screen tent thingy for the hatch. Makes the night cooler for you and Blue. And extend the living space some too. I take it, it’s water resistant? I wonder how the gel keeps cool when a dog sleeps on it

    • @Uberragen21
      @Uberragen21 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Another thing that helps is use a tarp over the vehicle's cabin to add shade when trees aren't available. It can drop the temperature inside the vehicle by 30-40 degrees during the day even with a white exterior. That way when you crawl inside to sleep, the temperature is pretty much the same as the outside air temp.

    LOL! I got so frustrated today trying to put the same one on my van. It wasn't easy figuring it out with not instructions. I put it up on the car first and then after attaching it to the rack, I opened the hatch to attach the rest; that's how I put my tail vale one on.
    Comments said it the large would fit the ford transit connect (baby bother of the ford transit) and it really didn't. Total bummer, returning! the grey matched my car and everything. Magnets would work for the gaps; mine came with some, but I'm sure you figured that out by already. 🙂

    Shaving his belly will also help cool him down faster. I know you’re not meant to shave a double coated dog because the fur might not grow back the same. I have done this to all my dogs when it’s hot and their coats always grows out nice and thick for the winter. Cooling bandannas are amazing all you do is just wet it and put it around your dogs neck.
    Also the cooling mats are good for us humans when it’s really hot 👌🏼

    A Couple of Rock up next to the tire will keep it from rolling.
    Check on Amizon... You should look into getting some Auto Ventshade [AVS] In-Channel Ventvisor / Rain Guards for your car. They are so easy you can install them. But make sure you get the ones for your car. This will let you get a small breeze because you can leave your windows down about half an each... but no one sees this because the ventviser hides it... but I don't know that you will want to sleep with them cracked unless you have an alarm setup...

That is a free fix for you while camping in the woods with plenty of wood around and five minutes of your time to make one.

    With us we did several different fans the ones Izzy Shiloh and Finn and I liked the most are ones we could adapt to recharge with battery banks that could charge off of solar. Harbor freight Walmart and lows and eBay are great places to look for components. Don't go to Georgia if you don't like bugs. New York state has almost no bugs. Hotspots only go so far but when they do work they are cool. Try not to do straight talk though I have been having major issues with straight talk for two months now.

    Graduation parties all happened there. I'm old I'm 34 graduated in 06'
