At 10 minutes and 15 seconds the reason for the -44.1*F is the reflection of the cold sky off of the low emissivity top of the trailer. Notice how the back end of the trailer is reflecting the warm interior of the building it partially sits in.

i was taking pics in the thermal view, but upon downloading, the pics were in normal view, not thermal. is there a setting i need to switch to in order to get the thermal pics?

Thank you from NS Canada. Very Helpful. Wish this app was improved though, kinda disappointing.

Hi, from Spain. That's the best webinar for H20T explanations. Here, nobody explained H20T functions like you. I bought that camera and M300 few months ago, and I'm still learning. I have two questions: first, when I'm doing inspections mission, for example in a PV plant, using MAPPING mode mission. Have I to select "inspection" in the SCENE mode, in the MENU of IR camera, or can i keep that in DEFAULT mode? Second, in that same mode pf mission, MAPPING, IR camera put itself in an angle of 90 degree with the objective on the ground? If not, how can I select that camera angle? Thank you very much.

If you set the temp. alert to body temp. You will never find a person in a search and rescue mission. It is not that easy. It all depends on the surrounding temps.

Yeah thats what I was guessing, if its at night or cold night, then maybe bput it on like above 65 F or something. but definitely not 95

Can I do water pipeline leak inspections with the H20T. Are there any videos?

    • @jonathanulery1610

Well actually you wouldn't be able to achieve what you want as this drone is for identifying subjects and spying and electronic surveillance...I loved how the one video went from talking about hot zones warm zones (that shit never happens) they went right to look at the subject at over. .5 mile away you can see the number he's dialing on his cell phone ....no wait a minute that's not a cell phone it's a bomb detonator send in swat

And I'm positive this is a top notch quality machine I own 2 DJIs I would think this would be perfect for pipeline inspections...

@@jonathanulery1610 do you own any thermal payloads on your DJI products?

@@AndrePlease I do not...and I probably over stepped the boundaries of positive comments just a bit but this originally was in my fb newsfeed and the more I watched the more the seller started to sound like the director of homeland security with all the " you can focus on a subject " and " you can see what the subject has in his hands at over .5 miles away " when the initial add was all about 1st responders and using the drone and its high tech camera for disaster response the bottom line is yes it would serve as a valuable tool in a disaster scenario but it's more practical everyday use will be to carry out electronic surveillance...I'm a believer in if your not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about and if any department of law enforcement is using such an expensive tool to conduct an investigation on you that your probably a piece of shit I like DJI for a few reasons having flown freestyle FPV on mostly 5" quads that I built ....with DJI products the user will develop a level of trust with the aircraft that I NEVER had with any other quad just yesterday I was flying my Mavic Mini over 1 mile away and my phone died so during the initial panic I got it charged enough to come on and get the last known gps location took me 5 to 10 minutes and by that time the drone had not RTH so I got in my car and drove to the location it was cold so I made sure the drone was not on the road and looked a little for it got cold so drive back home to bundle up and guess what when I got home the drone was there I was like NICE...

It’s kind of crazy how DJI has gone par for the course and copied and pasted what they got from their FLIR partnership. No wonder the U.S. government is pissed at them.

China will copy everything, do it 2x faster than US/EU and 3x cheaper. Hard truth

Hey Guys, This is all bunch of bollocks. This camera totally sucks and it does not, in almost ANY case show TRUE and REAL temperature, no matter what. At work I'm using large, professional, cooled MCT detector camera, which is radiometrically and NUC calibrated. In that camera, if I take a photo of a scene set atmospheric correction to real Ambient & Reflected temperature, set true Distance from object and its correct Emissivity. I GET TRUE temp in °C +- 1°C as per camera spec. Trying the same feat with DJI H20T I got from 10 to 25°C. No matter how hard you try, it gives you some cool colour pictures to look, at. Spot problems and get somewhat true gradient and temperature difference. But true Radiometric Temperature ?? Nope. (before you comment: I'm ITC Certified Themographer with 4 years exp. in aerial thermography).
