I've lived there all my life and have always wondered what it looked like down there. It's beautiful! Much bigger than I had expected! Excellent footage. Thank you! Great work by you and your team.

I lived there for many years and heard the diver death stories. It’s a huge privilege to finally see what they saw. How eerie. You guys are very adventurous. Thanks for the video.

I grew up above that bluff on Hospital Road. In my youth I have been uncountable times down to the "Big Spring"...but never have I seen it as I have here today. Thank you.

I'm getting my scuba cert in a couple months and hope to one day take the next step into cave diving and explore the many caves in FL.

Kcmo here, I’m ready, I’m going to get certified to see if I like this, Missouri seems to be a plethora of scuba spots, need to find more cave spots though

Beautiful video. Have you considered the use of an electric scooter to enable further exploration?

Is that equipment all stuff you guys brought in or is there stuff abandoned down there? Nice video. I visit this spring about once a week but from the top only. It's a nice little gem in Waynesville.

As long as I don't have to take tanks off to get through I'm fine.
    Good show.

Saw some crayfish way inside the cave, but otherwise, we only saw fish in the cavern zone.

John Janzen in the few caves I have dove in, I saw several albino fish and one albino lizard looking creature. In Florida I saw several eels.

Did people die down there why are there so many tanks?

My guess is that they're from another dive team that was in there using a different dive plan. Sometimes on technical dives into cave systems like shown here, people stage gas and equipment so they don't have to carry it the entire time.
Just my guess, but if it's staged like that for a dive team, they're probably going to spend more time decompressing (in deco) at areas like that than they actually will diving...and it will probably take all day and then some from the time they get in the water until they get out.
I don't have the knowledge base to say what it is, but there comes a depth when every minute at depth equals an hour of deco (decompression). That doesn't include your time to get to that depth then to get back out...and if the team is exploring and mapping the cave, you can almost bet they're racking up more deco time than most people going into the cave.
...yeah, I'm crazy enough to want to do this and even explore it. But I'm sane enough to know that I need the team, training, and equipment to do it safely. There's a reason for the grim reaper sign at the beginning of the cave section. I've got some work to do, one step at a time.

About 400, then it drops down to about 145, which is known a the lower tunnel.
