- In this video I show you the EDCO way to make a crank shaft for a 50cc Freetech bike. There are more ways to make a crank shaft. We have just taken into account the machines we have at hand to work with. You don't really need a CNC mill. It's all about the order you work in and your insight. You won't know whether you got it right untill your crank shaft is ready and mounted on your measuring set up.
To buy a crank shaft would be the wisest thing to do ofcourse, but for EDCO that won't work because nothing fits. Besides that, it would not be EDCO-style to buy things when you can make it yourself!
The video has Dutch subtitles, but in TH-cam you can turn on auto translate in your player settings, so you can have the subtitles in your own language. (for as far as they translate correctly)
Mooi werk Ed!
Большое спасибо, нашел для себя интересные решения.

Why you use a main bearing with loose bearing balls?
the magneto bearing make's it easy to split and mount the cranckcase
The steel type is 16MnCr5A ?
Correct
nice job, can you make me one? i will provide measurings and balance factor
No, I only make parts for our own 50cc race engine. Racing consumes all my spare time.
@@edco8041 ok let me know when you are available, its for Yamaha 85yz motor, how do you calculate max weight for a crack on a small reving motor?
