That dash into whole hog was actually 5head. See, what he was trying to do is dash through you, you turn around, he deflects and pushes you off; now you're stuck behind, he's on high ground, and he can abuse you for the ult battery you are.
He was getting decent picks when he wasn't getting annihilated by 5 pounds of screws and scrap metal to the face. I don't think he was throwing, but he may not have had his best game.

I think it probably mostly comes down to game awareness and understanding what is needed when. Cyx does a lot of flanking and dps style play, but (and this vid is actually a great example) he'll rejoin the team to push cart/protect the healers as necessary. One thing to keep in mind is that as far as tanking, Hog doesn't just block damage like shield tanks. He peels for his squishys by hooking their pursuers off of them and (hopefully) executing them. Thinking about your gameplay from that perspective (peeling vs shielding) might help you figure out your balance. Disclaimer: This is just some imo tips that I feel make sense, I haven't actually played OW myself in quite some time but I have always enjoyed hog's playstyle. Hope this helps :)
Man you should make a roadhog 1 shot hook guide. Somewhere I keep messing up and I hit 80% hooks on squishy targets but can't hit that 1 shot every time like you do.

I’d just be “...sir... please..... ;-; please.... sir... help.....” kinda like the time I was playing genji and had very low health and my only healer Moira wouldn’t heal me. (It was in the retribution game mode so there were no health packs) I kinda crouched, and inches over towards Moira, hoping she’d see my health being low. I didn’t want to click the “I need healing” button because I know some ppl can be triggered by it and it might make her salty so she won’t heal me. But I did. And she healed me. Of course I thanked her. And that seemed to make her more aware of everyone’s health the rest of the game. Must’ve been in a dps mindset. I understand getting used to playing one type and forgetting that you no longer have an ability like that. I play mostly support and some tank and almost never dps, so I often want to heal or shield and I just don’t have it and “oh shoot”. The most balanced between tank, dps, and support is probably briggete because heal shield and good attack. She’s one of my go to’s
