YES! Fox5 made a big mistake there. They don't seem to know the Oranges and Newark and uses the names interchangeably. I just finished reading the book. It would have benefited from an author who knows what it is like to be black in elite white atmosphere and the fun of East Orange childhood, some things were missing from the book in terms of that, but you could tell the author was going hard as he could to give us all the details through research and interviews. Seemed like he wanted to do right by the young man that died.
I read the book, “The Immortal life of Henrietta Lacks” by Rebecca Skloot, and I had before and during my reading of said book. On the other hand, the book, “The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace” by Jeff Hobbs, was written by one of the few people willing to do a little bit of research in order to tie as many facts into a narrative as possible. The book doesn’t exist just because Robert Peace lived an exceptional life. The book exist because one White Man found Robert Peace’s life to be an interesting story to tell. It stinks, but that’s how some stories get written.

He died like a fool.
Of course they find a way to blame it on weed .
What's the lesson here , i bet no one gets it
Why should they?
They being them
He was raised in east orange not south orange. And no affiance I don’t think a Caucasian person should be telling a black persons story
Oh for crying out loud.
Straight facts!
@@baileyclark8483just don't understand, do u 🤔
I read the book, “The Immortal life of Henrietta Lacks” by Rebecca Skloot, and I had before and during my reading of said book. On the other hand, the book, “The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace” by Jeff Hobbs, was written by one of the few people willing to do a little bit of research in order to tie as many facts into a narrative as possible. The book doesn’t exist just because Robert Peace lived an exceptional life. The book exist because one White Man found Robert Peace’s life to be an interesting story to tell. It stinks, but that’s how some stories get written.
