narhan mast I haven’t watched much of the video but slides are more common when the setter is front row because there is no front row right side. It can of course still be done with a back row setter but it’s more common when the setter is front row. If the teams are running a 5-1 there will be more slides than a 6-2. Our team runs slides a lot but idk why they aren’t. Even if they were running 5-1s I would still imagine seeing more than what’s in the vid
ryan2 - they are running a 5-1 though... you’ll be very hard-pressed to find a high level north american team running a 6-2. in my league (ontario volleyball association, so it’s a very big league) most teams outgrow 6-2 by 15u or so.
