It's cool J had the connections to take this to Europe & get Scott back on drums. J is as much why music sucks as anyone...& I have seen him many times, maybe more than anyone else, I think I have seen Lou Barlow one more by a show & Lou is even worse. He did a small venue tour with a dine with Lou ticket option for $100 you could have a meal with Lou. No doubt the booker came up with it, super fucked up charging another human being to eat with you, $100. I gave him shit about it too on Instagram, he then started following me, I am sure he thought t was a punk thing to do. He said the money went along way helping pay for the tour. We could all use an extra $100 every time we sat down for dinner. He totally ruined all his music for me. Of course he does not care & of course he is loved for seeming to be something he is not. He can play a fucking guitar too, have seen him play an acoustic with a few strings & make it sound amazing. So what. Put on a stooges record & forget those second rate fools with careers in music.
A few years ago Mascis played in my small city; just him - and it was an acoustic set; the door charge was five times what most local bands would charge. I didn't go.
