Detecting and handling sideloaded applications with Meraki Systems Manager

Due to various regulations around the world (most notably the European Union), Apple devices are now under the threat of sideloaded applications more than ever. They continue to be a threat vector, as the scanning that Apple do with App Store apps just don't exist with 3rd Party App stores. So, Meraki Systems Manager now supports the ability to not only highlight applications that are sideloaded, but alert you as an admin, and for you to be able to change the behaviour of the device (remove a managed application / put the device into kiosk mode (if you wanted to be really harsh)). Paul takes us through how we achieve this!
Note: Only devices running iOS 17.4 and above will report wether an application is sideloaded or not...
