In 1999 I was 29, and had just recovered from Nirvana and moved to an island to get away from everything. Then came this, and have been a Muser ever since. Now I'm 52 and still go see them whenever. But not in recordshops anymore unfortunately. Best band ever.
I can't even imagine what it would be like to have been alive when Kurt died. Thinking about him brings me to tears and I wasn't even born yet when they were around.
Agree, best band ever! Just discovered them a little over a year ago and have been going through everything they have done! Amazed at the talent of these 3 who cant even read music, look at all they have accomplished over the decades! This is a little jewel seeing young MUSE, so freakin’ talented…. Love everything they do!
@@Heightsomethinghuman Sometimes for me its so strange to see "young" Muse, hahaha, because then I was young as well. Muse for me was a revelation out of the nineties.... just as Nirvana was out of the eighties. I still go to festivals and gigs or concerts. Im 54 now. My sons hate me sometimes, but they admitted Muse LIVE is something else.
@@eliohhh We are so happy and lucky to be alive in this day and age! But I can tell you, it was a very sad period in my life when Kurt Cobain died. I just could not believe it. I always try to remember when I first heard of them, think it was 1990 or so. Or 1989, I dont know anymore. At that time all my friends were into house music or rap or digging up the 70ies rock, and then there was Nirvana. Oh yes.

i really wish i could go back in a time machine, see this show and tell the band that i come from the future and tell them how great they will become. Long live to Muse!!

Matt was 21 years old in this clip ??? whuuut? Dom 22 and Chris 21. WAUW. I wish i had this taste in music earlier. I was 13 back then (i'm from '86) and was in a Backstreet Boys-period of my life XD (that was fun too though :P) i'm 29 now and i saw MUSE live @ Pinkpop in NL. NOW i've finally discovered how great these guys and their music are. Well, music has no age or expiration date. So... i have a lot more to explore from their old days (y) Keep it up guys ^^
I've been a fan since I was a New Born (geddit) and I was searching for songs, when suddenly, Bliss came on (this was the first song I heard by Muse) and I cried tears of joy. I haven't stopped listening since :)
@@scazdogOMG! I was listening to a couple of old bands I was in and just noticed: FUCK, we wrote a song called Madness back in 2001. And, Bliss in 2005. I'm actually speechless now.

I was introduced to them in 2004 and i always hoped to see them play live. Thinking the crowds might actually get smaller with time because people wouldn’t appreciate their talents. Glad I was wrong 😊
when i watch this, i cant help thinking about the concert i attended to, this year, and realise how huge they've become. It makes me wanna cry to see where they came from and where they are now, i'm kinda proud of them yeah :') this band is everything to me, i will always be grateful for what they did to me.
Grrr 😡 What's up with the old and new shit? There's not a soul on earth that can stay the same forever! I only know 1 band where no one mentions old and new and that's The Cure! I played in a Cure tribute band around this time, and even then, we had band members from 18-45. The real Cure is out touring at 63, and shit, I had a cute 6 year old girl next to me singing and dancing like she was there when they wrote the songs! They're now in the rock and roll hall of fame. I can't wait to see MUSE get inducted!
if muse ever did a mtv unplugged session id drain my savings account to buy plane and concert tickets to see them without thinking twice. i wish they embraced their acoustic sound more... they sound amazing in this style and it's a shame that i have to scrounge around the depths of youtube to find obscure recordings of their acoustic gigs :(
Quanto sarebbe stato epico trovarsi ad ascoltare i muse ai loro esordi in un live così intimo, brividi al solo pensiero soprattutto visto i risultati che hanno ottenuto nel corso della loro carriera ❤
What mushroom or tree bark session made this happen because they became the absolute pinnacle of sound Be it jazz flamenco hardcore or folk structures with Gregorian overtones It must have been an epiphany on an epiphone that we have not woke up from yet. This is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen, I've never seen a smaller drum set. Fetus muse, can't look away.
