I was addicted to cocaine since I was 14 years old. I have been clean for 2 years now(also quit fentanyl) and I have never been happier. I always thought being sober would be miserable, but it is the complete opposite. I work out every day, I feel energetic and confident, I sleep 8 hours a night, and my severe anxiety is completely gone. To anyone struggling with addiction I promise you the hell of withdrawal is a microscopic inconvenience compared the reward you get at the other end. Just know the pain ends and happiness begins.
Hm, I was an extreme addict for 4 years in my early 20’s, luckily I never had permanent damage to my nose or facial bones. Of course, I don’t know what it did to the rest of me! Good riddance to that lifestyle
Yeah, as much as it's bad to do this stuff consistently, this is a very grey subject which I wish so many "medical professionals" didn't criticize and demonize repeatedly. Methamphetamine to it's purest form is actually not bad for you and provides wonder antidepressant effects. Cocaine is harmful, but still, isn't as dangerous as people deem it to be. When I say grey area, I mean there is a lot of variables which make these drugs deadly. 1) Genetic predisposition to addiction 2) cut substances 3) method of administration 4) Reliance on street drugs because medical industry pushes out medications that don't work and sometimes make conditions worse. This could be a long discussion, but that's a few pieces of information I wanted to get across.
Oh, and another thing..a lot of the cases where they blame people's bad teeth, skin, mental problems, etc on these drugs I believe are misleading because the ones they observe with these drugs have bad preexisting conditions, are homeless, bad access to hygiene, terrible diets, etc etc.
@@Rochester92G yeah, those are a lot of compelling points. I was dating a low-stakes dealer (what I mean by that, was he mostly just sold to his friends or rich university students), but of course we had a hook up for it in Denver. The quality varied DRASTICALLY and you could tell the second it went up your nose by the taste. Sometimes it tasted chemically sweet, like artificial watermelon so we assumed it was cut with absolutely horrible chemicals. Ecstasy was the other drug of our choosing, sometimes consuming 20 pills each in one night, and of course they are also cut with different things. And I have bipolar, was diagnosed years before the addiction, so there was a self-medicating aspect to what I was doing as well. I used to be prescribed dextroamphetamine for ADD, and that’s literally just legal speed.
For anyone struggling with alcohol AND cocaine addiction, i can tell you from my personal experience that quitting alcohol is an important step to quit (or reduce) cocaine usage.
Yeah I just figured this out I been trying to quit for 3 years now but it’s so hard especially when your drinking and everyone drinks at social gatherings. It’s so hard cause everyone in my family does it. It’s so hard to quit when everyone starts calling when I’m not at family gathering. Then I feel left out. I also have a bad habit of smoking cigarettes. I only smoke cigarettes when I do coke. I only do coke when I drink. So the main problem is drinking.
Man it’s all fun & games at first. But when it’s 930am & people are on their way to work while you’re on your way home shìt is not fun at all. When u get home & u have to tie a shirt around your head to cover your eyes because it’s broad daylight outside & you want darkness. When it’s bright as shit & everybody is awake & moving & you’re “sleeping” but your still hearing every single noise around you. Nah man. That shìt ain’t fun. & it’s not worth it. Once the suicidal thoughts start creeping in while your laying there trying to sleep that’s when you know it’s time to stop. I pray that anyone still hooked on this gets the help they need. IT GETS BETTER I PROMISE. DONT EVER GIVE UP ❤
I know that feeling. I never used cocaine but in the early to mid 70's I like to take speed on a Friday or Saturday night. When the birds would start singing and first light crept through the curtains, I knew that the crash was imminent and I would be depressed all day but unable to sleep it off.
An old friend of mine has been coked up for over 30 years. He’s got a hole burned through the roof of his mouth. He got extremely violent, mean, belligerent, just miserable to be around. I haven’t seen him in almost 17 years as his outbursts and chronic lies almost got us killed one night. I had to walk away and turn my back on him for mine and my family’s safety. Sad that such a gifted and talented man completely destroyed himself and ruined every relationship he had with family and friends.
@Brendon Lee O'Connell Stop what crap? We are talking about cocaine abuse here, not alcohol abuse. Nobody is disputing the dangers of alcohol, but that’s not the subject matter.
I was 20 years old when my friends introduced cocaine to me. We were in a hotel room excited for our first rave. I was hooked on it for 8 years since then. I moved out of state last October and I’ve been clean ever since. 7 months sober and I’ve lost 55 pounds and look a few years younger now! I’ve never been so healthy as an adult and I appreciate life so much more.
I've used it many times, had a great time every time, never had any addiction issues, never hurt anyone, never had any problems. Each to their own I guess.
I was in my mid 20s when my friend introduced me to cocaine, I got hooked on it for 10 years, In September I will hit a year sober! I can go on forever on how this drug affected my life a lot mentally and physically. When I had my daughter is when I decided to go forward and try to quit and I did it cold turkey!
Wow, this inspires me... i'm addicted myself... i want to try to stop using by stopping and taking microdose psylocybine truffels. But you stopped and losed 55 pounds?! That sounds real good tbh... you can give me any advice maybe? Cause i use when i drink, and i drink daily so snorting lines of cocaine daily too, but i want to stop... i did stop tbh for 1 month with both but then they stop giving me enough diazepam so i started again...😔 i am now 29 years old and i want to finally start living in stead of this right now...
@@leavemealoneandbyepleasedie To me drinking seems like the underlying issue to be honest. Maybe lay it off, and try to supply the body dopamine with exercises and things you enjoy. even masturbation lmao
I was on cocaine on and off, more on, from 13 to 38. I also was on meth, heroine, and methadone for years. I've been clean since 2012. I love being sober and can't believe I survived all those years of drug use. My nose seems to be ok,unbelievably! I use to fall asleep behind the wheel on heroine and methadone. I crashed 8 cars into trees. Thank God I never had passengers or ever ran anybody over! Man, for anybody still fighting the addiction battle, NEVER STOP TRYING ! We have so much power to help so many people once we get sober!
This crap caused me to have kidney failure back in 2015 when I was still struggling with drug addiction. I almost freaking died and had to be on dialysis for 3 months, and I was one lucky SOB that my kidneys bounced back and recovered. It's memories like this that remind me why being addicted to drugs is no life to live.
I’m glad you bounced back! I was a fairly extreme addict for four years but luckily it seems I dodged a lot of bullets (minus some sinus issues). How long were you an addict for?
could i ask how much you were using per week or month? with alcohol? thanks for any advice, have a friend thats clean and i want them to stay that way. blessings steve
My brother was a cocaine addict. His personality changed totally. He became paranoid and caused irreparable damage to the family. It was as if he revelled in chaos and friction. Deeply unhealthy, it killed him in the end. Yet he was a man who had everything, the world at his feet - it was painful and sad to watch his self destruction.
I had a brother like that too. Hopefully he went to rehab for six months and now he's been clean for 1 year. I hope he really dropped using that. It was really harmful for our whole family
I´m so sorry to hear about your brother and the horrific effect his addiction had on your family. I, too, abused cocaine for many years, and I will never forgive myself for the damage I did to the people I truly love. Luckily, I got out of it eventually. I hope you can recover from this tragedy and would humbly ask you not to think too harshly about your brother. As human beings, we are all prone to making mistakes, and some of us make pretty bad ones. However, they are mostly not done out of malice, simply out of confusion and fear.
@@goldenfrog6EsCoSes I adored my brother. He was supportive, helpful, organised, loving, playful, highly intelligent and very witty. He was also good looking and charming. I miss the man he was and it really breaks my heart to contemplate what he became because of cocaine. He was demonic, set my dad against me and caused irreparable damage and heartache which none of us deserved. I have days of anger towards him which I have to reign in, I know his situation developed over many years and obvious inner turmoil so I don’t judge him and remember him as he was, my fantastic younger brother who gave me and my kids so much. 🕊️
As an older teenager, I discovered cocaine and quickly became highly addicted. I have been clean since 1994, but the damage to my body had already been done and is permanent. I have Chronic Migraines (15+ headache days oer month), anxiey disorders including panic disorder, nerve damage, and damage to my septum. It was definitely not worth it and if you're an addict, please get help. My life is forever changed as a result of my addiction, even after being clean for so many years.
THIS is the REAL problem with drug addiction: the permanent damage it causes to the brain, heart, lungs, etc. I've known many current and recovered addicts. They have all exhibited varying degrees of psychoses and/or degraded mental ability as well as heart problems due to long periods of malnutrition that often accompany severe drug addiction. It is always very sad.
if anyone is struggling with coke addiction right now. you got this! my cousin went through it because she was into the party scene. she never been to rehab so it was cold turkey method. she stopped partying and cut ties with everyone she known from this "world" changed her phone number and went through therapy. she is sober since then, married with two beautiful baby boys :) there is hope ladies and gentlemen ❤️
I first tried coke in first year of university. Started doing it quite regularly, and for a time period between junior and senior year almost weekly (EVERYONE was doing it). I stopped doing it cold turkey after the "come down" phases became unbearable, like I literally got extremely suicidal.
@@nickando1734 yep lol, eventually you can't even afford all your addictions and they're all associated with each other in your brain. I'm coming down from coke so I need a drink and a cig, and then some uppers so I can feel good again, blah blah
I really enjoy the drug topics. I think it further helps peoples choices to actually avoid, or at least limit consumption of dangerous narcotics. I also just find it fascinating how the body responds to different chemicals. Please do more of these.
All drugs should be decrimilaized. Zero are " bad " for you. They are all tools if used responsibly. Fear mongering is what causes curiosity cartels and death from ignorance
When I first and last tried cocaine. I felt unbelievably amazing, I loved it more than anything I’d ever loved in my entire life. I looked at my friend and said “this is the most dangerous thing I’ve ever done, no person should love a powder as much as I love this. I’m never doing any cocaine ever again.” I’ve always been grounded even in my most impaired states… I’m so grateful I never touched it again.
I've always been too scared, I'd like to try, but I prefer don't risk my health (and not only) for half an hour ride. I also watched my friends initial enthusiasm fade in a miserable junkiness in a couple of months and I don't want to end like them. Not worth it imho
I’ve been around cocaine since my early twenties. Seemed like it was everywhere all the time and it was normal. In my early 30’s now, and clean from alcohol and cocaine. I have watched this destroy so many lives and I decided I wasn’t going to be one of them. Working out, staying sober, and trying my best to be a good dad! It feels great to be free from this shit.
@@byoken Not super close, but I did have some big panics over unrelated problems that I conflated with coke. Ultimately the anxiety got bad enough that I just decided it wasn't worth it and I didn't want to be afraid anymore.
I was addicted until one night I drank too much and didn’t realize how many lines I was taking. I suddenly started to freak out and my heart was pounding like crazy, I started to walk back and forth and spitting for 2 hours because if I stopped I felt like I would’ve had a heart attack. Biggest tweak ever , and that was the last time I’m ever gonna do it.
I have barely taken cocaine but last time I did i felt something similar I was super jittery and felt my heart pounding out my chest and I could not keep still whatsoever because I felt like I would just collapse or something if I did. I didn't notice I was tweaking out until some rando girl pointed out that I was acting really weird and couldnt stop moving, when I sobered up I said to myself that I would never take that shit again because I legit felt like and was acting like a crackhead.
Iv sniffed loads in past blus i was born with congenital heart defects wich i had 2 surgerys for as a baby an will need another 2 in future life a few times i remember been sniffed up an zoning in on my heart mentaly googleing cocain heart attacks an stuff lol but i always fort fuck it if i die tonite i die lmao it got to a point where it made me withdraw from conversations an sort of shell up thats when i fought fuck this this isent no fun any more lol
I started doing drugs 23 years ago as a teenage, got addicted to cocaine. Spent my whole life fighting cocaine addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Cocaine addiction actually destroyed my life. Not until my son recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Germany. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them
Thanks for sharing your story. That's rough I sympathize. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health. I will pray for you all.
Yes he's Predroavaro a professional mycologist. My daughter did straight shrooms in few days. Made her whole! after words, no more addictions, pains, ptsd and depression. It helped us.
my uncle is addicted, when he does it he turns into a monster. he has almost murdered my aunt and grandparents many times when he’s on coke, and it’s horrifying. I work in an ER, so i’m always seeing people come in due to cocaine symptoms, i’ve seen patients die from cocaine as well. truly a horrific drug
Yeah, it ate a hole through my septum. Weakened it to the point where it deviated and now I basically have one functional nostril and one that's just for show unless I undergo rhinoplasty. In hindsight, feeling like a god for 20 minutes at a time wasn't really worth melting my face from the inside.
I did so for about a year and a half.. And didn t suffer any short or long term problems. However... I didnt do as much as some of my friends were doing as well.
This video is so meaningful. I wish there was less of a stigma against discussing such topics. Thank you for making it. I've been sober from cocaine for over a year, and it means a lot to me you guys posted this! A person's health can really deteriorate because of addiction and its important for people to know and understand.
I don't think there is a stigma at all. As a matter of fact, I think there is a stigma against speaking about the harmful effects of hard drugs like coke, particularly among those who are in their high school years, 20's, and even 30's. If you talk about the harmful effects of drugs with those people, you're a "narc", a person who is no fun or too serious, a party pooper, and etc.
"A person's health can really deteriorate because of addiction and its important for people to know and understand" ...Every fucking body knows that already 😂
@@ThugNerd I doubt it, because it really depends on the substance and who produced it/prepared it for sale. Clean heroin for instance is a very different beast from street heroin. The more chemical processing, the more this rings true for illegal drugs in general. When gov clamps down, it tends to get even worse as substitute precursors are used. The war on drugs has always been a war on rights. The only succesful drug policy is one that understands both sides of the coin, and chooses respectfully to limit damage to people and society. A war on drugs will never, ever fit that bill.
7 days clean. I never used to care about what I was putting into my body. One day I just wanted to stop using it. I’m interested in learning the dangers before it’s too late for me
I started doing coke at the age of 21 (2 years ago) I’m now currently in outpatient rehab for alcohol, and I can say with 100% certainty that cocaine has done damage to my nasal areas including a nose that runs everyday for the past year and before anyone says it, no it is not “just allergies”
I actually have “just allergies” and “just allergies” actually is awful too and literally not just allergies. I would never have done this to myself, unlike you, so I’m very angry at you but still I feel bad for you too. Ask a doctor about medicated nasal sprays like Flonase, it helps a lot. it’s non prescription now (used to be prescription) but with your history you should definitely consult a doctor
Yup you could say I know a guy that carries around a hanker chief every day all day because his nose is always running or it’s congested… Oh, and he’s been a long time user of this stuff for years..
As an recovering addict, getting this knowledge out there to the kids is a milion times more effective than the fear tactics we usually use.. just talk about it openly and surely less kids end up like me, addicted to drugs for 10+ years.
One of the most stopping videos was one that documented the coca farmers who were processing it to cocaine. The old man said "nobody here farming uses it, we can't understand why any kid in Europe would like to use this disgusting poison".
Farmers would make paste. Then they'd sell that paste to labs. But yeah the ways they made paste were pretty awful. I remember we were getting this stuff and everyone sniffing it said it was like stuffing magic markers up their noses but man did that stuff cook good.
I’ve used coke about 20X in 30 years. If you’re hooked on fitness and diet, it’s hard to be addicted to pleasure drugs. Moderation is a SKILL. Few build the skill. Simple 💪
same i go to vegas every 2 years or so w my buddies for march madness basketball. I use it there and it’s a ton of fun. But after the 4 days are up and i return home i don’t use it again until i go back in another 2 years or so. Dont need that stuff every day, its like a once in a while treat is how i look at it.
@@karamlevi True I run around 5 times a week and gym 1 to 4 times a week, sometimes I do coke or molly with friends or at raves but I always stop after because a workout is coming next day
I used to take cocaine on payday weekends (so once a month I would buy an 8th between 3 of us). There was an occasion where I had severe heart palpitations and had to go and lay down. I remember trying to blow my nose to clear and try to get rid of it. That was a scary moment for me and was the turning point where I made the decision to stop.
I know that's happened to me a few times to that's why I won't touch that anymore I think part of the problem to that half the stuff is laced with fentanyl now and days years ago I never remember that happening
I have a heart issue and one of the nurses said to me about recreational drugs (she meant cocaine) being extremely dangerous in causing Arrythmias. I'm ex military so have never been in the habit of taking drugs so luckily it's not something that I'm into.
Not sure whose gonna see this but the mixture of alcohol and cocaine is what ultimately took the life of my uncle, he liked to party hard and passed at age 37. All I can do now is advise people against the stuff to the best of my abilities thank you for helping me understand how this happened, and keep up the fantastic content
Thanks so much for this informative video. I’m 63 years old I’ve been clean and sober for 39 years. In my youth I drank booze smoked a ton of refer and dabbled with LSD but nothing had the hook that Cocaine had. I loved the smell of it. After a 4 year addiction I knew I was running out of road and signed into a rehab. I never looked back. I’m blessed I stay in the company of sober people
Never tried it before and never will. Everyone I’ve known who does it regularly, I’ve ended up cutting off due to their lack of regard for others. So much of what they do is based around using people to get ahead in life
I think the phenomenon you've highlighted is due to the types of people who seem disproportionately drawn to cocaine and then consumed by the addiction. These types weren't good people to begin with, and won't therefore, become good people after eventually ridding themselves of their habit. A monstrous cocaine habit merely exacerbates and draws attention to previously existent character flaws inherent in such people, which no amount of counselling or lengthy periods of abstinence will ever completely ameliorate or correct. If you know sby whose cocaine use seemingly transformed them into a totally self-absorbed, narcissicistic, s.o.b., may I suggest that, tho present beforehand, this persona just managed to go unnoticed without its more apparent revelation through the use of cocaine, but can't then be unnoticed, especially during the self-congratulatory and equally narcissistic phase, post-habit, of the eternally 'recovering' addict. Don't give these people the attention and praise they so dearly crave but so rarely deserve. Praise the good people in your life who are absent of such character flaws and most likely never indulged in this kind of ego-driven, masturbatory behaviour in the first place. N.B. I'm a cocaine/crack user, but I wasn't before, I'm not now, and I won't be afterwards (if that time comes) a real c**t like the people I'm describing above.
I have had the same issue. I’ve cut off those on coke because they tank their life in the process… I have a friend who now dates a prostitute in college - he is going on 25 and I don’t think him graduating is going to be good for him… had two exes that did coke - both changed their personalities severely and I was so happy to have them exit my life - both were going to be pharmacists in the state of Florida Ron Yassim and Derric Patmon……. I highly recommend people stay away from coke heads
I was a severe IV cocaine and heroin addict for 7 years. Im 10 years clean from hard drugs now but I lost ALL of my teeth. They all had to be pulled out. I actually see the denturest finally on Tuesday. Dentures arent covered by insurance and they are $4000 for the cheapest ones. Ive been without any teeth for over a year trying to save up and as a 35 year old woman it has had devastating effects on my self-esteem, and social life. Not to mention my health. Because I cannot chew I don't digest food properly which leads to vomiting in the mornings. I also have heart problems. age 35 is SO young to be missing all my teeth and to have heart problems. Please if you have a problem with cocaine or any other substance get help. It is possible to stop needing the drug to cope with trauma and be happy. It takes a long time for the brain to reset but it does and now I'm happier than I ever have been. Its never to late to get better. you are loved. If you think no one loves you, I love you. You are worth it.
I'm missing two teeth to decay and a bit older but even two teeth really sucks - two big ones upper and lower left. Still haven't had them pulled. I brush like a mofo twice per day now.
This makes me so sad knowing how much damage I was doing to my body in my late teens while partying hard and "experimenting" with all sorts of these substances. I just turned 40 and you definitely start feeling lots of regret once you get older... For anyone younger and still in those experimenting stages of life, the sooner you stop the less regret you will have when you' get to my age later, trust me.
Thanks for making this. You'd be surprised by how many people personally benefit from this video. Watching this was both horrifying and relieving. I quit before it destroyed everything I love and this video is serving as a solidifying mark that says "good choice".

Thank you for another great and informative video. As a pharmacist, i just want to point out that cocaine is actually used in some nasal surgeries, though at very specific doses and in very specific applications. The dose makes the poison. Stay awesome!
Yes, when we use cocaine in surgery, we use it topically. We soak a cotton pad in the liquid cocaine , then apply it to the nasal tissues to reduce swelling as bleeding during surgery. It works the same way as Afrin. Now days ,surgeons seem to just use afrin instead or an epinephrine solution
Two years sober and counting My body was starting to send me some serious warning signs, and I knew then it's now or never. Once quitting, I battled for my health for the following year, and once I recovered enough, I decided that I'll be fitter than I have ever been in my entire life. Long story short, I'm feeling great, looking great, and most of all, I am free.
I am 55. I tried coke twice, first licking up a paper sprinkled with the powder at 18 and then at 23 snorting a small line. I liked both experiences so much that I never ever dared to try again. I knew it was the Devil in a brilliant disguise. Greetings from Buenos Aires.
The father of my kids passed away last year. He had an aneurysm and then went into cardic arrest, but he'd been doing this horrible drug the night and morning of his death. My kids and I were devastated and we'll probably never get over his passing. We are moving forward with the pain.
I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my older brother to this drug 4 years ago. The pain never left, but me and my family are learning to live with it and live the best lives we can. I'm also an alcoholic and addict in recovery. I'm coming up 5 months clean and I'm 29 now, the same age as my brother when he died. I'm doing this for his memory but most importantly for myself! God bless you and your family🙏
@Brad-wl6de I'm sorry for your loss as well. The pain never does go away, but life must continue, and we have to be better people for them. Many blessings to you!

One thing that wasn’t mentioned that I think is worth mentioning, is the fact that cocaine is often cut more with other impurities the further north you go. I was a daily cocaine user for a few years in my early/mid 20s. I still to this day have heartburn issues that are a direct result of the cocaine running down my throat and damaging my esophagus and stomach lining.
Mullein leaf will heal you and drink pure psyllium husks soaked in water for an hour or two regularly... there's also Triphala which is ancient Ayuverda it fixes digestive issues.
That's what the whole 40 trillion dollar "War On Drugs" was about. Didn't seem to work very well to protect people from harm, though.. for some reason. Just wasted 40 trillion dollars.
this wouldn't work. it's very interesting and educational but too clinical for children to even consider the harm. even the scare tactics videos don't work on many. good parenting works best, but alas it's in short supply.
As a teenager I got it from what I found out was a “Dirty Old Man”. Obviously he gave it to me for free since I was so young. Thank goodness I only did it a couple times. The last time I did it, I was throwing up everywhere. I was so scared I was going to OD but couldn’t handle telling my parents. It scared me so badly that I never did it again. I was 14-15 and that old man was my friends grandfather who was at least in his 70’s. 🤮 I also had an undiagnosed tachycardia at the time… I’m lucky I got the 💩 scared out of me!
The young people lack all gratitude. That's why I don't waste my drugs on underaged girls. Let them hold down a job for a while and learn to appreciate drugs.
I've made a lot of bad choices in my life, but quitting alcohol and cocain is by far the best one. Life has never been better and continuous to get better. Addiction is no joke and it took 6 months after quitting to realize I've been in a bobble of addiction. Great video! Hope it aspire people to stay away.
i just need to say, as a 16 year old girl struggling with this addiction, this video helped me SO much. nobody has ever talked to me about the effects of doing it and i wouldn't have known if it weren't for this video. so thank u so much im really really grateful for this channel and everything i learn from it. i just really need advice and finding people who are going through the same things as me in the comments makes me feel so much better. thank you!!!!!
I haven't gone through it but my advice is to nip this in the bud/stop cold turkey. You're only 16. Would be a shame to risk an entire lifetime gone to cocaine addiction. It's up to you. Do you want to stop right now and live a regretful free life or are you going to say "yes" to addiction and risk losing everything you have, including friends and family?
I was in the same boat but with oxycodone. One of the worst parts about having an addiction as a minor is that it makes the brain more prone to addiction in adulthood. The battle is going to be tough and long, but it will be worth it.
I'm in my 20s and I've been a moderate coke user for about a year now. When i say moderate, I mean I do it 2-3 nights a week. Even at that pace, I've started noticing some adverse effects. Doing a bump used to bring me from baseline to having higher energy. Now, I feel like a walking zombie most of the time, and "need" a bump to feel a normal baseline level of energy for someone my age. Also, whatever energy coke gives me in the moment, I end up needing to pay back two-fold. I'll sleep up to 16 hours some days. My eating and sleeping habits are totally out of whack. As a result, I'm weaker and have a harder time exercising, which is something that's important to me and my mental health. It also really alters my perception of reality. It'll make me more confident but also terrified to be alone, and makes me feel disproportionately depressed if I end the night earlier than the coke makes me want to. I was home for the holidays and had 5 days where I had no access to it. I didn't crave it that whole time, but I'm scared to think what it would be like if I let my usage get to that point. That, and this video, made me realize now is probably the best time to stop, before it gets any worse. Thank u for putting this out there!
Thank you for sharing your experiences. I connected with all of this and have seen the same effects on friends and my girlfriend. My advise is to get rid of it! Perhaps only use it for a special occasion, like a friend's birthday or something, and avoid using it as a 'normal' way of having fun. I wish you luck brother
If you continue to use it moderately, it will consume you. I recommend going to NA or CA as soon as you can. Get yourself in the rooms so you have that help there
I stopped doing coke once fent hit the market hard. I watched people drop left and right from bad cuts. Been clean ever since, honestly never been happier.
Man I use it every now and then and I convince myself it’s just social or I’m not gonna get hooked. I need reminders like this to remember it isn’t worth it. Thank you for the helpful info and thank you for past users that have shared their stories of sobriety. Truly inspiring
I’m the same dude but I realised I’m addicted when I can’t go without it in social drinking situations even if I haven’t had any in six weeks I’ll crave it for that one night . Been like that for four five years now
@@Jamie-bg3zb That's cause the brain makes that link between alcohol and cocaine so everytime you drink the brain goes "So where's the other stuff?" At least that's how it was for me. I go out, didn't feel the need to do cocaine at all but 3 beers in and I was grabbing my phone. So I quit alcohol for a while as well, just to get rid of that link.
I’ve always thought it being addictive was very overblown (I know I am certainly wrong) because most people I know can take or leave it. However, I think it’s always important to really know what it’s doing to your body. I’m not a health freak, far from it, but I’m amazed at how human bodies even exist. It’s so complicated and highly evolved.
@@GangstarComputerGod Its not a myth, its one of the most addictive drugs. I know soooo many people that got addicted while they were already using other drugs before and not having addictive issue with it. People will spend 100€ on a g while in debt and having to go to work next day, just bc they had few drinks and suddenly cravings are crazy strong.
I did coke a few times in my twenties. I remember once the day after doing some, I sneezed and my entire body hurt and I remember thinking “this stuff is really bad for you.” Haven’t even thought about doing it since. That was the last time
I really miss my life long (since 6 years old) best friend who ultimately died as a result of Cocaine and things that follow. He was an alcoholic since about the age of 15 and routinely used cocaine to quick sober up and be able to party and drink more. This went on for about 25 years. He wound up homeless and I was his only friend he had left in the world after alienating everyone else he knew. Within a year of being homeless he tried Heroin for the first time.. he was dead within 5 months. Heroin O.D. RIP
I had a long year of being hooked on coke from 2000-2001. I honestly have no idea how it spun out of control so far. The worst was when I would come down after a day long binge I would crash so hard, feel like complete garbage and have depressing suicidal thoughts. I woke up one morning and said "That's it.. Im done" I not going to live long like this. I'm glad i made the best choice of my life that day.
@@archersterling4044 likewise. Friends I had or so called friends. Take away the drug and there's nothing there. It's a very fiendish drug. What the scariest part was even if I did it alone and I was out somewhere, somehow I'd always attract or meet people who had it too without even really talking about it. Its sort of like a big tornado. It just picks up and attracts everything around it. I'm glad to hear you're in a better place. I've been offered it to me in my face for the past 20 years and my will power is still strong. Plus I'm 50 years old now, if I did that I'd probably have a heart attack and die. Ain't worth it!
As someone who's been years and years clean, I'm still not the same.... from almost 3 years of daily use , binges and alot of shit behavior that came along with addiction... I never will be the same. To anyone reading this... that first feeling of " this isn't fun anymore or this is alot of fun, I want more" get away from that whole lifestyle if possible save yourself years of torture and a lifetime of regrets
I was an addict for a few years to this, opiates, and various benzodiazepines. I went into a coma for two months on dialysis the whole time due to kidney failure, heart failure, lung failure, and severe nerve damage, leaving me with neuropathy along the entire right half of my body, all of which has been healing immensely since then. However, I still have problems like a drop foot. All of these drugs are great, not going to lie, but they aren't that good when they are killing you. Harm reduction is critical, not abstinence. I wish I had known that then; I have been sober for three and a half years.
As a med student, I had to inform one young father in his late 20s that his cocaine use had led to his heart functioning less than 10 percent its optimal level for his age...
That’s my brother. Im we just found out he’s been in drugs for years. He’s now in the hospital after passing out and swelling of the leg. After running tests they found that his heart is functioning at 30. Im so broken and I’m having a hard time facing this reality. It kills me. He hid his addiction very well. We thought he was schizophrenic. I’m just broken.
Both of my childhood friends have been doing cocaine for around 7 years. I stopped 1 and half years ago and haven't even thought about it, the quality is terrible anyways so it's barely even cocaine.
In uni many of my friends were big-time cokeheads. I'd do it somewhat regularly for a period of time(let's say 6 month). Never once had a craving or felt the urge to do it. It would simply be around, I would be offered said yes. At some point I just realized I didn't like it and haven't touched it since. It's interesting because my friends would do it and go to the movies/out for dinner and I never understood it
The problem is that once you do it a couple weekends a month it becomes a habit of getting high every Friday/Saturday and dealing with the coke and booze hangover for the next day or two, then just keeps happening till eventually you don’t have really that much fun going out unless you’re geeked outta your fing noggin lol, not to mention the toll on your wallet and the legal consequences , plus the ups and downs of your mental state. Trust me I know from experience, I was 18 once as well 😂 and drugs are In every town with more than 2,000 people here in Ohio. Fentanyl is really crazy fr.
I knew a girl in our group of acquaintances that did her fair share, (she could because she was cute and smart) but her body didn’t take it too kindly and I watched her sinuses slowly cave in until one day she looked like an ex boxer that had been blocking punches with his nose for 20 years. She eventually got clean and married and had reconstructive surgery that made her look cute again.
A "friend" of mine developed a bad cocaine habit 12years ago despite many attempts from friends and family to help him stop it's by far the most important thing in his life more so than his children. in his eyes it's impressive and respectable to be an addict always in debt like it's an achievement. I've given up on him and deem him a write off
@@KaylaHumphries-us8jqmy friend, 15yrs old barely tried it got hooked. eyes yellow, skin yellow, nails falling off, skinny. im seriously thinking shes not gonna make it.
I got introduced to cocaine in college; my friends loved to party with the booger sugar but I didn't see what the big deal was because it "had no effect" on me, it just made me feel "normal", calm and focused for the first time in many years. I started using cocaine to study instead of party. I loved what it did for me, I felt like it "unlocked" my brain but at the same time I had to remind myself (and my wallet also reminded me) that it was frickin COCAINE and that it could never be a sustainable, long-term study aide. lol One day I Googled something along the lines of "why doesn't cocaine affect me like it does others?" and "what are some supplements that mimic the effects of cocaine?" and that started me down a rabbit hole that eventually led to me being evaluated for and being diagnosed with ADHD. I've been on and off of different ADHD (aka "legal cocaine") prescriptions since then. I'm almost 40 so my body has been processing these meds on and off for a couple of decades. Without getting specific about a certain medication or brand, I'd love to see a video about the long-term effects of stimulant ADHD meds on the body. Can you actually see any lasting effects on the liver, brain, pancreas, lungs, heart, etc.? I'm so curious. I know that there's already lots of info out there regarding the physical effects of stimulant ADHD meds, but much of it is in written form and/or concerning living subjects and I would love to be able to see some of that data represented in physical form (post mortem) if possible. **I know that the IHA doesn't get to request cadavers with specific medical histories (they receive whomever gets donated to them, right?) but if there's an opportunity to cover this topic, yes please!
I met someone that had ADHD that went on a highly restricted diet, and their personality completely normalized. But they found it tough to stick to due to family, and ultimately went back to normal eating. I figured they must've had a weak blood brain barrier and weak gut barrier. Probably letting undigested proteins into their brain, mucking everything up and causing inflammation and misdirected immune response. Was sad to see them revert, when feeling good was within their grasp.
@@BikeHelmetMk2 Severe ADD and depression. I went on keto diet to get rid of pre-diabetes and my ADD, brain fog and depression got better. 5 years in, I currently do very low carb, higher protein and moderate fat. I am doing great. I too wish more people would consider keto for ADD/ADHD and depression.
Aha! I have had a similar experience. I remember doing speed for the first time and for the first time in my life feeling 'normal'. It's like the wheels in my brains finally connected and I got to see what it looks like to have proper executive function. Then I abused it, because you know. If you take double you'll feel great...until you come down. I've quit over 10 years ago and did a lot of work to get where I am now, thanks to proper diet, low stress living, exercise and some good supplements.
Thank you for this, I've just sent the link to a friend who had a huge seasure a month or so ago, she is now getting the help she needed, but to know exactly what happens to the human body is enlightening, and I hope others can benefit from this information x
I would suggest not doing things like that.. I think it's pretty safe to say if she's getting the help she needs she's also getting the information she needs (and probably already knew) and does not need to be getting that same information from other people in her life. what she needs from you is simple support and an open ear to listen to what's going on with her and be there if there's anything you can do to help but sending her stuff like this video and telling her how bad drugs are will only make her resent you even though she knows you're factually correct. as an addict I can say even though I know people have good intentions when they do things like that, I simply cannot help but become resentful and upset with them for doing it because it at least appears to show you think they are ignorant to the consequences, and got into their situation out of stupidity and ignorance instead of any of the actual factors than lead hundreds of millions of people around the world to addiction through millions of different circumstances
My uncle is an addict I don't know which drug but it destroyed him and his family, he is very impulsive . People who are on drugs harm themselves but the way their family suffers is what hurts me the most .
My father just recently passed away from smoking crack cocaine and from drinking alcohol and energy drinks all at the same time. So this sums up at least some of what was going on with his body I have never intended on doing that stuff at all but it's just interesting to know how damaging it really is to the body.
I tried crack not long ago, and holy hell, the flavour and the feeling was a instant hook, it was quite a shock to say the least. It took a lot of willpower to not do any more.
I tried coke once. I decided that if I were to die tomorrow, I wanted to at least have the experience. My nose was runny for hours afterwards. While it was working there wasn't that hollywood "drugged out coke head" energy. Instead, I just kinda felt pretty good. Had a conversation with a guy at the party who was a personal trainer (and kind of a coke head himself). It was really chill. When I got home however, I found I had trouble sleeping for several days. I had similar problems when I was prescribed adderall. I came, I saw, I tried it once, and never need to do it again.
Greek medical student here, I just want to say how thankful I am for the Greeks subtitles! You caught me of guard, it felt so nice to have everything translated ( even if I know english very well ) it felt like I was seen. Thank you, keep up the amazing videos and work!!!
Do you think you could do a video on adderall? I don't know if that's too controversial or not. I am prescribed adderall for ADHD, but sometimes wonder what the effects (short term/long term) on my body are. I also wonder if the improvement in certain ADHD symptoms are worth dealing with such effects.
I was on Adderall a few years ago and it was great, but I'm now on Strattera and it's not a narcotic and it's even better. Maybe something to consider 😊😊
I am taking methylphenidate and I asked my psychiatrist about this a while ago. She looked at me really shocked and asked me if I really believe that they would hand out prescriptions for medication that slowly kills people (or damages the body or leads to addiction and problems bc of this). I have to go and get a ECG sometimes to check sth called the qt-interval bc stimulants can affect it in rare cases. And when you need a Dosis over 40mg a day you shouldn’t just skip taking them a day or take them irregular because switching between stimulant -non-stimulant mode every day is straining the body. Otherwise, if you take your pills the way they are prescribed (with enough food and so on) there is no problem. I think they even did autopsy studies but I might be wrong there. I live in Germany btw, doctors can’t just hand out prescriptions for whatever. My GP can’t give me morphine based painkillers or sth like this, you need to be a specialist for the “dangerous” stuff. Dangerous in the broad sense..oc you can just get ibuprofen or paracetamol and overdose on it but then you can also overdose on I.e. fast food if you try hard enough.. I can only get methylphenidate from an adhd specialist and the prescriptions are monitored, she can’t give me more than I need. Adults here usually get a Dosis of approx. 60mg, sometimes more, sometimes less. You start very low and move to higher doses over a timespan of several months. This is quite different to what friends in other countries get, I’ve heard of people who are only allowed to take it on some days in the US, friends in Japan just get a super high Dosis and strong sleeping pills bc reasons. I feel very healthy with my Dosis and I get regular blood tests bc of my thyroid and they test for more than just the basic values and everything is perfect. That’s why I don’t worry anymore. Sry…this answer is way too long, I think the autism part of my brain just took over…
I couldn’t tell a difference between meth and vyvanse, they felt the exact same. The side effects same as well the worst being it gives me dark thoughts on a comedown, can’t stand it.
@@Z3sty367 intresting...they don't prescribe that where i live. I've heard that some people have a really bad reaction on any kind of stimulants, it sounds awful ngl...
This drug had me hooked for 3 years doing at minimum a gram a day. I made it out alive but the effects of what it did to my body still haven’t shown themselves and that’s what scares me. The only thing I’ve noticed is how I have almost no hair in my nose and I constantly have had scabs in my nose that never heal for over 4 years now
I’m not a doctor but here’s how I cured my non drug related nasal sores -kept fingers out of nose (most important) - reduced alcohol consumption - swabbed nostrils with q-tip of neosporin 1-2 times a day during breakouts Maybe this could help you too. Again, not a doctor and not a cocaine user, so I can’t guarantee anything or even claim to know what I’m talking about.
I was addicted to cocaine since I was 10 years old. I have been clean for 2 years now(also quit fentany and heroinl) and I have never been happier. Just know the pain ends and happiness begin. Slava Orbánovi!
These drugs are a slippery slope. I used to snort a lot, built up a tolerance and couldn't get enough effect. Then one of my mates showed me how to make crack. Well that was the last thing I needed, sent me down a road I'll never go back down. Life becomes a constant struggle to get a strong enough bit so you can convince yourself you feel normal, ok, or at least something. All the while that struggle, self induced was the barrier to myself. Tyring to feel normal when you forgot long ago what normal was.
After using heavily on a fairly regular basis for at least 6 years, I quit just over 38 years ago upon finding out that I was pregnant. And due to my also having PCOS, the realization of pregnancy was delayed and my son was exposed to it his first 10-12 weeks in utero. Fast forward, he is 37 years old, has some developmental disabilities, yet functions quite well at his job as a limo driver and lives on his own. Strangest thing is that he CRAVES those equally toxic energy drinks, and he doesn't have any idea "why". Sadly, I believe that I know the answer. He is aware of my previous unhealthy lifestyle because he found his medical records at around 11 years old and read them. He's forgiven me, so he says, but I haven't been able to forgive myself for hurting my precious child even before he was born. Cocaine is one horrible addiction.
I’ve been addicted for 18 years and really struggling with it. I’m losing everything and having very dark thoughts. Im trying to get clean without any help as I’m too embarrassed to ask for it. Lost lots of friends and family over it. Really struggling
I know it’s controversial but I used kratom to get off pain meds and it really helps with the withdrawal and at least it’s legal. Just a thought that worked for me. Hope you can find peace and happiness ❤ here for you
For a long time I avoided trying cocaine. I got through my undergrad just drinking and smoking weed. When I started grad school another grad student did blow, and he was very fond of it. We went out to drink often, and would invite me. I turned it down a number of times. Then one night my curiosity was too big. I finally thought, "ah, hell, why not?" First time trying it, I felt like god! It was amazing for sure. After that, it was hard to not think of doing it again. Just a couple weeks later, I was doing blow again with the same guy. I quickly noticed how the next day I just felt like total garbage though. You reach a really high high, and then face a really low low. I felt so depressed. I swore off of the stuff for a couple of years. Then I went back to it while in Spain (they love coke there). I started doing it almost every week. I honestly felt hooked. It wasn't till I decided to quit alcohol that I also quit coke. The pandemic made me leave the party scene since there wasn't any reason to keep drinking and doing drugs. I've been sober from both for over three years now. I came close to destroying my life even though most of the time I thought I had my shit together. Almost getting fired and wrecking your car isn't exactly having things together though. I eventually realized where I was going to end up if I had kept down that path. I am super happy I left it all behind before I truly hit rock bottom.
Avoid this drug at all cost. This drug was the ultimate reason I got sober. I luckily realized how bad the direction I was going in before I really messed up.
Was taking it a lot as of recent, funny thing is you don’t really realise till one night you do it and just start fearing all the negative affects and get that shit out of your mind. Was never too bad on it but glad I understood before I did
I have 10+ years of general anxiety disorder which was developed due to cocaine abuse....I highly recommend to everyone to avoid any supstances and get addicted to peace and love that many of us have even though we are not aware of this... I had to go through darker route to realize this...❤
A perfect example of what damage can be done to the nasal septum is the actress Danniella Westbrook. An absolutely stunning young lady who had a chronic addiction to cocane. Her septum has gone completely which has completely altered her face! 🙁
She actually lost her septum ironically BECAUSE of the surgery she had to have on her collapsing inside nose. It was a botched job and resulted in the entire external being just as fucked. She was stunning as well all those years ago
Thank you. My brother occasionally used it. And he was a monster on it, then he got clean and somewhat loveable again. The night he died, he had Coke and beer in his system. So the monster consumed him in the end , again.😢
In my experience there is no such thing as responsible recreational cocaine use. Staying up 24+ hours, chainsmoking, drinking beer like water, somehow ending up in a car halfway across the city, coming to in the back of a cab with the driver yelling at you to pay, waking up on Saturday thinking its friday, checking your text messages and seeing you made an ass of yourself to half your contact list, having to go blow your nose at work all week and nothing but slime and blood comes out, miserable hangovers that last forever, swearing to yourself and your friends you were out with that was the last time. And yet you go do it all again next weekend. Years of that, all from trying it once and liking it.

37 yrs Addicted to Cocaine I'm 58 , I have never went a week without it . Today is day 149 without it. Every day still I think of it, understanding more about it has given me the strength to fight it. I am always around people I indulged with, I would have to move to Mars not to be around them. So I Armored myself with knowledge about my enemies effect on my body and mind. Looking forward to tomorrow as I have more ammunition than ever and I'm emptying the clip on the drug. Every day I reload with a prayer and information on it's effect. I have a great wife, ok job and average Apt. Now a new life.
Cocaine is one of those drugs that after you’ve been doing it all night you feel like you’ve damaged your body for days after. The “Colombian flu” is awful. I’ve done my share of this garbage, but it’s amazing to me that people can do this stuff every day. My nose literally won’t let me.
I took cocaine 3 or 4 times. Last new year's, I was out partying and drinking heavily, and took too much. It didn't feel like it at the time - that night I just felt amazing. What followed though were a week of the worst stomach pain and constipation I've had in my life. I had to call the ambulance while crying on the floor. At the hospital, they found out my kidneys were functioning extremely badly, and I had to spend another 2 weeks recovering. It was horrible and absolutely not worth it. I'm never touching it again. I've also developed a strong aversion to alcohol since.
I had 2 awesome weeks in my life of doing a ton of coke and then recognized that I was starting to “need” it. Luckily I have very low addictive tendencies and quit full stop. I knew several people that took it way too far and just couldn’t handle it or know when to stop
@@MitchellWinning I can relate, but at the same time I'm good at self regulating the harder drugs. It's usually the smaller things like weed and nicotine which are hard for me to stay off.
You should do videos on all the street drugs and addictive prescription drugs. That would be very informative. I tried it once in 1999 and hated it and never did it again

At the time of our breakup, my ex was in the middle of an intense cocaine addiction. She went through an entire 8 ball in one night and tried to strangle me because she thought i had taken it from her and hidden it (because i was always encouraging her to stop). That was my wake up call to get far, far away and to stop trying to save her. To this day i have no idea what happened to her after that. Hope she survived her addiction.
Wow this is close to home, but I am the addicted one. I never physically hurt others. But got bog and violent arguments with my partners. I was terribly addicted 9 months ago, litteraly 3.5 daily. It wreck my body and I already struggle with mental issues..also bring big financial issues. I did went and change my life me and my partner move to an other province. I still have relapse. Even just a new eve. I know it's horrible to be this way. I did make a lot of change to grow. Now I workout daily, took weight on and muscle. And I have grown mentally. I have to accept to let go. So many people love me and support me.
My ex/child's father has been a coke addict for several years now and it's cost him his job, money, his overall wellbeing and now I have sole legal/physical custody that was granted to me due to his addiction. It breaks my heart and I'm so disappointed In his actions, especially because I work In Healthcare, pursuing nursing, and I see people's bodies destroyed by many things, addiction being one of them. Unfortunately, I don't think my ex is going to stop anytime soon, even with his visitations being supervised and the threat of our daughter possibly being taken away from the both of us if she accidentally gets into any of his stuff. He's too deep into it and he's also depressed. I have a lot of love for him and care about him tremendously, but at the end of the day, at the beginning of our day, we wake up and choose what kind of choices we're going to make and Unfortunately, I think it's gonna take him going to jail or something happening to our daughter for him to wake up and get help. Drug addiction is a life long battle and I have to accept that at this point, the ball is In his court. I also have an aunt who's a functioning addict and even with her Going to jail, having her license suspended and her car impounded, she still continues to use. Like Rick James said, "cocaine is a hell of a drug" and he's absolutely right. Smh.
Started drinking every single night when I was 16, started doing cocaine every weekend when I turned 17, quit all of that crap when I turned 21. Best decision I ever made, don't put that crap in your bodies ladies and gentleman, the high is not worth the potential problems later on in life. Hats off to anyone who quit, it can be one of the hardest things to do.
I remember 20 some yrs ago the addictions center in my city said that they were 6 months backlogged and couldn't accept new patients unless court ordered! Quitting on my own was extremely hard and I fell off the wagon too many times to count, but what did it for me was moving to a different city and no longer associating with those friends. What isn't talked about enough is the long-term effects 10 or 20 yrs down the road...I wish I could remember what happiness feels like.
Last time I did coke was about a week ago, it was only 1 gram but it was by far the worst coke I've ever done. I've been suffering with dizzy spells, breathing problems and tremors keeping me up at night. I've never had this problem before and its starting to scare me. If anyone else has ever experienced this I could really use some tips on how to make this stop.

During the last years, I had 4 episodes of heavy cocaine use, which lasted for several weeks or months each. I always smoked cocaine as Freebase or Crack. It has an enormous power to ruin your life and finances in a short amount of time. All you want to do is SMOKE. I didn´t sleep for days and got a cocaine psychosis. I had massive paranoia, saw and heard persons which weren´t there. And I spent thousands and thousands of €. I then had a car accident because I just fell asleep on my way to my dealer after two days of no sleep coming down. I got out of the destroyed car, had a broken spine, broken chest, was in hospital. I had two relapses since then but am in good health again. It is a daily struggle, but I want to break free from it. May god help all of you and give you strenght who struggle with this addiction.

Hope you know Lord Jesus ?
surely they told you all your life how bad that thing was and you agreed to try it anyway, don't try to be sorry
Absolutely true. I quit working in bars and stopped drinking and the cocaine use just kinda fell off. 3 months cocaine 5 months no booze

No bull shit. I’ve been clean for about 2 years now and I still have nightmares about those days. Those workdays were miserable as hell

For real lol don’t miss those days atall 😂
I know that feeling. I never used cocaine but in the early to mid 70's I like to take speed on a Friday or Saturday night. When the birds would start singing and first light crept through the curtains, I knew that the crash was imminent and I would be depressed all day but unable to sleep it off.
Don't get a job.
I know someone who's been doing it that long and who acts that way. How do people do it that long and still seem to thrive still?

@@vanessaaves3271 thanks for sharing it and let others know what is it like to be addicted on Drugs ❤

I'm scared I'll be writing this in the possible future. I fucking hope not.

THIS is the REAL problem with drug addiction: the permanent damage it causes to the brain, heart, lungs, etc. I've known many current and recovered addicts. It is always very sad.

DId you ever freebase tripping? What a rush!

Thank you for another great and informative video. As a pharmacist, i just want to point out that cocaine is actually used in some nasal surgeries, though at very specific doses and in very specific applications. The dose makes the poison. Stay awesome!
Pharmacist? Wow that is awesome! Pharmaceuticals is really interesting too! How long have you been a pharmacist? Very cool!

Do you think you could do a video on adderall? I don't know if that's too controversial or not. I am prescribed adderall for ADHD, but sometimes wonder what the effects (short term/long term) on my body are. I also wonder if the improvement in certain ADHD symptoms are worth dealing with such effects.
Same here, I got prescribed methylphenidate but I'm too scared to take it more often than once or twice a week

I work out every day, I feel energetic and confident, I sleep 8 hours a night, and my severe anxiety is completely gone. You taking coke at 10 makes me think you had a sh!t life to begin with... why else would you take drugs at such an early age?!?

@@92TampaChick813 thank you for the advise. Just checked and it’s banned over here in England 😏, I’ll beat this addiction u watch 😀
Try mdma instead.
Bro quit ! I am facing the reality of my addiction too we can do this
For a long time I avoided trying cocaine.
Nobody cares

Lol ppl care ab your experience. Good job knowing your boundaries big homie.
Glad the pandemic caused also good things, despite death and depression
I care and I'm happy for you. Thanks for the story brother. I understand you..
Was never too bad on it but glad I understood before I did
Every boss I’ve ever had did cocaine. I hate how people act on it.
I have 10+ years of general anxiety disorder which was developed due to cocaine abuse....I highly recommend to everyone to avoid any supstances and get addicted to peace and love that many of us have even though we are not aware of this... I had to go through darker route to realize this...❤
I did, too. Have had GAD for 23 years now, but it’s trauma-induced. Glad you bounced back, and appreciate your obvious empathy for others.
@@theedmee have you tried mushrooms for this?
❤
Oh ...r.i.p.
Dying in your bed doesn't mean your bed killed you.

I'm not a native English speaker (I'm Brazilian) but I love your videos and how easy is your English to understand. Thanks for sharing such a valuable content. I'm father of two teenager kids. The scientific details you provide as well as the risks of drug abuse without any religious or moral bias are key for a conversation with my kids or any loved close friend of family member. Thank you so much and keep up the good job! ♥
Your English is amazing for a non-native speaker. When did you first learn? Also I agree this channel is amazing when it comes to unbiased info and education.
RESPECT! You are good father. 🙏
5 years Sober cold turkey from cocaine and it was the best decision of my life. I never knew the damage it could do to your body up until this video. So glad I stopped before it got too bad. Thank you for sharing this info ❤️
Congrats! I almost have a year under my belt.
Very proud of you! ❤
Nobody gives a fucc
It was hard huh going cold turkey?
Im on my 3rd day
@@rubenbazan8798 Went cold Turkey and… honestly once you make the decision, it’s easy. Simple NO goes a long way my friend. Never looked back
Good deal sweets.
That shit almost killed me mentally physically financially I'm clean now
Cocaine is one of those drugs that after you’ve been doing it all night you feel like you’ve damaged your body for days after.
🎉I was an addict for 6 years. Almost died from a brain aneurysm. Don't ever do it.
I had 2 awesome weeks in my life of doing a ton of coke and then recognized that I was starting to “need” it. Luckily I have very low addictive tendencies and quit full stop. I knew several people that took it way too far and just couldn’t handle it or know when to stop
yes
@@MitchellWinning I can relate, but at the same time I'm good at self regulating the harder drugs.
It's usually the smaller things like weed and nicotine which are hard for me to stay off.
@@kynanverwimp847same. Like I’m trying to not stop weed at all but starting to not smoke it during the day for my activities
2 weeks. 😂 Ok

You should do videos on all the street drugs and addictive prescription drugs. That would be very informative. I tried it once in 1999 and hated it and never did it again
Working on it!
@@theanatomylab I work with a lot of homeless people/ drug addicts and the #1 choice of drug is methamphetamine and the #1 way of consumption is by smoking it. A detailed video of all the problems this drug causes would probably be one of the most helpful videos out there on this topic. Thanks a mil for all the hard work you guys do on these videos! 🙏🏽

@@irvinzavaleta5804 I’ve noticed when people inject it they lose their 💩like off the rails crazy. I’ve cared for so many addicts that wind up in the hospital due to skin infections and surprisingly they’re very open about it so I get to hear their stories.
Will never understand the desire to inhale powder through your nose
Bullshit.
You were just doing it way too often.
Playing minecraft for 4 hours every day is probably bad - doesn't mean minecraft is bad.
