For a young lady, you have an old soul in being wise beyond your years! Communication leads to understanding. With understanding comes support and love for all of our brothers and sisters on this earth. By far the best reaction to this video. Joyner should have a Grammy as well.
You are the first reactor I've seen in a long time understand that neither side won this argument, but that both brought out some strong points against each other and told som serious truths about each other. Love it! You just got another subscriber.
the way that this song is made has the black guy being mostly right and the white guy being mostly wrong. Even when I was far on the right I thought that the white guy in this song was too crazy
He's referring to Eminem's BET Cypher he did before the elections if I'm not mistaken. Worth a search and reaction for sure EDIT: i just noticed this is many months old 😅🎉
Probably never heard anyone being more open minded and logical about this song. Lovely to listen to people like you who can see it both ways. Love your reactions. Keep it up!
loved this reaction! Joyner writes his own songs and produces as well. Heres a few of his joints that i would love to see you react to: "Sorry", "Just like You", "Ross Capicchioni", "Happy Birthday", "Frozen"......He also has club bangers and more commercial type joints and collaborations...He's a very gifted artist that hasnt gotten the recognition that he deserves.
Britt...... You are AMAZING and have such a beautiful soul!! I have watched this video and alot of reactions to it, this one and your perspective are BY FAR my favorite... Thank YOU!!!! 🙏❤
I really appreciate that you approached this song with an open perspective. I've seen so many reactions to this song where people get instantly offended or upset and they lose sight of the message the song trying to convey.
I think this is the best take I've seen on the video. I was feeling the same way the first time I saw it, but you put it into words perfectly Great content, subscribed
Been watching your channel for awhile, stumbled upon this vid, and just wanted to say you absolutely killed this reaction. great prospective and maturity in watching this vid for the 1st time. good stuff.
You are my favorite reactor to videos. You react with passion, feeling and an unbiased opinion. Always a pleasure to see your reactions. And you're beautiful so yeah, keep doing your thing and I'll keep watching 🙂
Second comment but I’ve never watched a reaction video without skipping a little but i LOVE your reaction, and I’m also mesmerised on how beautiful you and your mindset is!!
This was incredible!! Compassion, empathy, actually listening to others’ reality may some day change us. But it takes sitting down to talk to each other, really opening your mind to listen to others and you’ll see in most things we are all the same and have the same basic needs.
You are so well-spoken in the expression of your thoughts and opinions. You have a great point of view. I appreciate your un-biased view of this video. I appreciate you, homie! Much love!
I have watched prob 15 reactors react to this...by farrr the best one yet! You hit everything on the head...unbiasedly!! Thank you! Joyner should have won a grammy & Nobel Peace Prize for this!
I come to Utube to escape the daily onslaught of negative political discourse. My first instinct was to turn this off and find more happy music. I'm glad I didn't. The only way out of it is through it, and this cuts right to the middle of a lot of issues. I hope no one hears this song, I hope everyone listens to this song. Great reaction.
damn you had 60000 subscribers at the time of recording this video!!?? you now have in less than a year gained 180 THOUSAND subcribers! thats insane good job. i loved your reaction im half maori half european from New Zealand (theres no full maoris anymore) and i cry everytime i hear this song cause i can feel the rawness, anger, and sadness in joyners message. i know white and black people want this raciscm war to stop. just like WW2 no one wanted to fight but everyone had to. i loveed your emotions that came through in this video
12:00 Eminem performed at BET-Cypher and drew a line in the sand, saying you‘re either his fan or a trump-supporter and can‘t be both. He (Eminem) addressed those bars since, saying on another song (The Ringer) „If I could go back, I‘d at least reword it, and say I emphasize with the people he sold a dream to that he deserted“
Still emotional, specially the ending all these years late after listening to this song many times. No matter what race you are or what gender you like if you got respect for me I got respect for you. We can all learn a little something from each other and be better for it.
Ms Britt, this is why I love you. You have such a good soul. When you speak, your soul speakes. Your kind. Your balanced. Your fair. Your mind is broad and you care. My goodness girl, blessed be you. Blessed be the man who married you. If the world had just 20 percent of you, it would be 20 percent closer to peace. God be with you Britt. Don't ever let the misfortunes of this world change you. Look forward to the day, of what you say, will become a reality. When the creators day, will do away with tragedy. And the end....Peace for all. (Psalms 37:10-11) Thank you Britt...
"Oooooohhhhh...he said it with the other 2 letters on the end" lmao I lost it! Great reaction. You should react to "Im sorry" if you haven't yet. POWERFUL song/video.
Beautiful reaction, all we need to do is understand ♥️ We have learned to swim the ocean like fish, learned to fly the air like birds but unfortunately have not learned to walk the earth like brothers! 🥲 We are all one, much love ♥️
I like how there were a lot of arguments from both sides that started out reasonable and then went way overboard. The message of understanding each other is so important. Very happy to see you went at this with an open mind and actually understood the deeper message.
Ay i knew this song long ago cuz worked on some with joyner. But this reaction is probably one of the dopest i've ever seen all time. It's not even the song itself its the commentary awareness and listen i lame as hell and white but l this awareness is cold. November december freezing and I well I can even say "we" appreciate it. Music community or who all I just watched this with its wild like you get it. Even the irony in some of lyrics. And while I doubt you see this hope u have a good ass day cuz u made ours and don't even know it.
The eminem Trump situation is from the bet hip hop awards freestyle Cypher. Love your reactions and would love to see you react to that one. Keep up the great work queen.
I'm white grew up in ghetto been coast to coast and I always remember what 2pac and seen that it's true .."compassion and understanding is the key" ...once you realize that then you are family will all races and people from different blocks of life ....and you all the sudden see a brother and sister and not any other type of person..and not just in America everywhere the world wold be a better place if everyone was really woke and not fake woke ....
I was born in easter EU, white as a snowball basically no racial diversity in my town not knowing anything about human relations ( why would school teach us about that right?) since i've started traveling and meeting people i gotta say i dont understand racism and all this dividing, we can learn so much from each other, see so many unique traits that make us human and just strive for being happier, hope one day we all could be at least a bit more understanding
Great reaction like usual Britt..Such a powerful piece that Joyner did. And if I remember right, I read that these 2 fella's in the video were Joyner's boys. Buy don't quote me on it.
Recently discovered your channel and have had a great time watching your reactions. So many are just out catching bars and forget to really listen to the message of the song as a whole. So refreshing to watch your reactions. As for "what you missed" Eminem's B.E.T. cypher on Trump was when he spoke on the state of our union. He was criticized by so many. Keep doing what you do and have the day you deserve.
I’m sure someone has mentioned this but these actors have performed this song on Joyner’s shows. Stage is setup the same, wearing the same clothes and you get to hear from both afterwards
Joyner is one of the best story tellers imho. Alot of people in Australia don't know the history of our own indigenous Aborigines. Who are the oldest living culture on the face of the planet, aging back 60k years +. Up until 1967 Aborigines were not even classed as humans in their own country. We were classed as animals by definition until our referendum in 67. We had "concentration camps" which would "breed out" the black from indigenous peoples of this country. White Australia has a black history. Alot of people in Australia don't understand how bad my people were treated let alone the rest of the world
Not a huge Joyner fan but this is easily my favorite. He did a great job of illustrating the different perspectives. He went far each direction in order to make it more jarring. But the root of it was well done and the point to open up conversation and understand each other instead of just hate each other is beautiful. You never know the person next to you if you don't ask
Perspective is one of the most important things in life. The ability to know how you feel, but understand why other people feel a different way and accept that makes a huge difference
I love this reaction. Especially the Emmy type thing comment. I completely agree and thought the same thing when I was finally able to get past the first few seconds and actually listen to the song. Pure art. Eminem to trump - Campaign Speech, freestyle. If you haven’t seen the video to Lucky You, good song w Joyner and Eminem.
Goosebumps every time I hear this song. Great reaction! I've neglected Joyner for some time now, I need to catch up. But check out the songs Ross cap"something" and the song Frozen. Much love from Iceland.
Songs like this in this day and age (And I love this song) hurts my soul to hear. It hurts because I have been here before. I have already seen this "movie". And how powerful we felt in the change we went out and began to make. Such an amazing time. And the music was bringing us together. It hurts because for so long it seemed like the coming together was going in leaps and bounds. But here I am watching this "movie" all over again. It hurts because what we strived to accomplish in the 90's seemingly had no effect. Like the entire push was for nothing. And I wonder why it did not continue. What did we do wrong?
Growing up in the 80's and 90's I had to fight black people literally just to go to school of a morning and to go home of a evening, I was the only white student in a southern black school on the south side of Chattanooga TN. me and them did not truly hate each other, It was their role to try and punk me and my role to fight back. We actually started to get along over time. Late 90's i moved to ky at age 13, The same cycle began when i was 16, until one day I walked into the black side of town. I went right up to my would be bully's house and asked his mom if he could come out and play. His mom was shocked to see a white kid in the ghetto let alone asking for her son to come play. She let him outside and was watching us. I was determined to end the would be bullying before it got too bad. Ever since then, I just ask any black person i meet their name and treat them like i would have my long lost friend. It works pretty well. Sometimes, i get a giggle because sometimes new black people will act like i surprised them, because i am treating them like a person. then i realize how bad that reflects on society and how hard older blacks had it growing up. and that's sad.
This is a long story, I'll try to keep it short.... I had no clue who Joyner Lucas was, this song kept popping up as a "recommended video" so I clicked on it, first time I heard the N word come out of a white dude I turned it off. I was pissed that youtube would suggest this.... after weeks of it showing up, after weeks of attempts to listen to it, I think I finally made it through on attempt number 5, probably more than a month later. Then I realized neither one of these men was Joyner, I saw it for what it was. And just now I got as emotional as you. I've heard this song and seen this video countless times, but I still get emotional. Thank you for THIS video. Love always.
I've probably listened to this 50 times but still tear up every time. It's uncomfortable, but until we address uncomfortable topics we can't come to an understanding.

The whole point is that it's not about winning the argument it's about understanding both sides of it
Watch the ideo of Joyner explaining the meaning of this song and you'll be disappointed...
the way that this song is made has the black guy being mostly right and the white guy being mostly wrong. Even when I was far on the right I thought that the white guy in this song was too crazy
also after relistening the black guy wasn’t even mostly right, he was completely right
what strong points do you guys think the white guy had?
Such an intelligent, neutral, and open mindset. This is easily one of my favorite of your reactions!
this may be the best one i saw
He's referring to Eminem's BET Cypher he did before the elections if I'm not mistaken. Worth a search and reaction for sure EDIT: i just noticed this is many months old 😅🎉
Thank you! I will keep it in mind! Have a great day!!!

I cried at the end too, your an amazing woman
Joyner is half white and half black so this imo adds more contrast on the different perspectives.
Very jarring lyrics for sure. I appreciate how objective you are!
I appreciate that, I really try to stay open to all perspectives because there is so much to learn and understand. Thank you for watching!!!
Yassss! Absolutely! 🫶
I’ve seen this so many times & it still gives me chillsssss

YOU are awesome. Truly.
There's a powerful message in this song it's all about understanding and getting to know each other spread love not hate
I’m sure someone has mentioned this but these actors have performed this song on Joyner’s shows. Stage is setup the same, wearing the same clothes and you get to hear from both afterwards
You seem so safe. God bless you.
Royner is biracial so he has a unique perspective, and probably understands both sides more then most people
Joyner is one of the best story tellers imho.
Best non bias reaction ..smart and beautiful
Perspective is one of the most important things in life. The ability to know how you feel, but understand why other people feel a different way and accept that makes a huge difference

We have a dream!
From 1987 we had so many anthems promoting unity.
Rhythm Nation - Janet Jackson (My icon of icons. This album (of the same name) was a life changer)
Black or White - Michael Jackson
Power of Equality - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Free Your Mind - En Vogue
Paper and Fire - John Mellencamp
I could go on.
This was the first song I heard by joyner and I thought the first guy was joyner 😂😂😂
This one made me emotional my first time too.... seems like a lifetime ago now
Joyner is a genius when it comes to story telling this song is one of the greats
Great reaction!

Joyner is an amazing artist, and I love this reaction. You give me Syd vibes in the best way❤

I went into deep thought when I first heard this. Powerful song
Directional mic - point your mic at you instead of down! Love the reaction!
You are smart and curious young lady!!
I've probably listened to this 50 times but still tear up every time. It's uncomfortable, but until we address uncomfortable topics we can't come to an understanding.
